I keep hearing about political suicide, political this and political that. This is no longer politics. If the red line of impeachment is crossed, The consequences will be much more immediate than anything political. The Deplorables have been arming and readying for this confrontation since the Kenyan’s usurpation. This is truly the sh1t or get off the pot situation. If the deep state succeeds, there will be no more elections. There will be no more politics. There will be fascism and slavery. There are way too many true hunters in this country for the traitors to survive this. All the rest has been theater up until now, but now it is going to get real. They will truly be afraid to be seen on the streets.

You put your finger on it. If Mitch and Schumer work out the rules for the trial it will be different than the past ones. Look for Turtle to agree to secret votes just as other juries do. Also I expect that the only thing considered will be presentation of the evidence underlying the impeachment articles. There won't be any rebuttal evidence allowed or cross examinations...the senators will only hear from the impeachment managers. It will be a bigger kangaroo court than what the Schiff is running.
I can see that happening...Allow no time for any discovery...Allow only the evidence the Democrat House determines is the credible evidence and convict based on THAT evidence...After all, they have honorably and thoroughly investigated witnesses...How could the general public, the honest Senators and news media see it any other way...
