President Trump announced Saturday night that his administration will no longer consider his personal resort in Doral, Fla., to host the 2020 G-7 summit, and suggested he might consider Camp David presidential retreat in Maryland instead.
“Based on both Media & Democrat Crazed and Irrational Hostility, we will no longer consider Trump National Doral, Miami, as the Host Site for the G-7 in 2020,” the president tweeted. “We will begin the search for another site, including the possibility of Camp David, immediately. Thank you!”

Wasn’t it the press who was belly-aching about the Camp David site because it wasn’t convenient for THEM? They had to stay off-site and be bussed in and out all the time. I think holding the conference at Camp David can reasonably be considered payback. Marvelous idea.

Serious question...why did he propose this? You and I and everybody else knew the Dems would go crazy. Then to pull back from it gives the Dems a win. This isn’t typical of Trump’s troll strategy. Wonder what the rest of the story on this is.
The press and media will now have to take a bus trip two hours a day going to and from Camp David instead of staying at one of the nicest resorts in Florida.
