PHOENIX — A Phoenix doctor is accused of pointing a gun at a small group of protesters outside Acacia Women's Center on Thursday, October 10, according to Phoenix police.
Doctor Ronald Yunis was arrested by Phoenix police on Friday, October 18, on charges of aggravated assault, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
A YouTube video posted by Apologia Studios depicts a group of anti-abortion protesters outside the Acacia Women's Center on October 10.
As Dr. Yunis pulls out of the women's center parking lot, he appears to brandish a weapon, briefly pointing it at the protesters. ABC15 reached out to the people who made the video for comment, but as of Friday night, have not heard back.
A written statement on Apologia Studios' Facebook page accuses the Phoenix Police Department of failing to arrest Dr. Yunis despite evidentiary video appearing to show a gun in Dr. Yunis' hand.
However, Phoenix police say they did respond on October 10, "Gathering evidence, including video recorded by one of the people outside the women's clinic. The initial report taken by the responding officer was filed that day."

I think a lot depends on what the camera-holder was doing when he approached the abortionist’s car. In Arizona, you can display a firearm to defend against a threat of physical force. If someone hostile to me approached my car, I might do the same.

Its always been very troubling to me to know that there are career politicians who have made their life;s mission and career being known as someone who premeditativly killed at least one human. Somehow it being one of your very own children make it all okay.(?)
Every female politician from county clerk to president gets asked about it from me when they come courting my vote. Immediate shock at my question are met only with facts and numbers and questions on why its ok for women to murder their children and not go to jail and medical professionals who cant be or have been rejected by the modern medical field are the only people qualified to help them kill their children.(?)
The last county clerk who graced my door 12 years ago joins me in God’s Praise and Worship every week. No one since her has rang my doorbell in over a decade.
Hopefully this ends up in a felony conviction. I believe his medical license goes away at that point.
