Stupid article. In the House, a “privileged resolution” to impeach brings up articles of impeachment for voting. It is a means for impeachment that bypasses an impeachment inquiry by the Judiciary Committee. If the resolution passes, the office holder is impeached. Those have come up three times regarding President Trump. There has been no vote on an impeachment inquiry because the Speaker will not allow it.
