I know a lot of active and retired Marines, they are all voting for Trump.
IF true, and it wouldn’t surprise me since American soldiers have soft hearts, that’s too bad. Shut up and soldier, soldier. That’s what they told me.
In the meantime, perhaps the Democrats (and any soldiers who think they know better than President Trump) would like to tell us and our service members how many American dead and how many taxpayer dollars will be enough to meet our ‘commitments’ to the Kurds?
And whose land we’re going to expropriate for the new Kurdish Homeland?
And what we’re going to do with the non-Kurds who are already there?
And how we’re going to keep their justifiably PO’d neighbors from overrunning and destroying this brand new Kurdistan?
And finally, how we going to get the highly factionalized Kurds to unify and not fight each other for dominance in their new country?
It is time for us get our troops out the miserable dumpster fire that is the Middle East and invite the Iranians and the Sov, er, Russians to get mired in it.

I can sort of relate: I didn’t always agree with my orders when issued to me, but I saluted smartly and carried them out to the best of my abilities! Soldiers, and by extension... airmen, seamen and marines follow the orders of those appointed above them... it’s in their oath of enlistment! There’s nothing in the oath that addresses shame or humiliation... or feeeeeeeeeeeeee-lings.
I retired from the Air Force in ‘96, and I do not display my retirement certificate because it bears Bill Clinton’s signature... (spit). He was the CiC, and his orders really did roll downhill... I saluted smartly and carried out my orders to the best of my abilities.
If today’s military members cannot overcome their “shame, humiliation, and feeeeeeeee-lings... then perhaps they should consider another profession.
