Hey a runoff is to our advantage, as there were 3 Republicans running for Governor;

Louisiana Governor - 100 % Precincts Reporting
Party Name Votes Vote %
Dem Edwards, John Bel 626,00 46.60%
GOP Rispone, Eddie    368,318 27.42%
GOP Abraham, Ralph    317,115 23.60%
GOP Landry, Patrick    10,966  0.82%

So with 2 Democrat & 1 independent who is really a Democrat Edwards & the Democrat got 48.17% of the vote.

With 3 republicans Rispone & the Republicans got 51.84% of the votes.

So the runoff election will be held Sat. Nov. 16th between John Bel Edwards & Eddie Rispone.

Rispone is known as Eddie Rispone(pronounced RISPONY) (born January 21, 1949), is a businessman from the capital city of Baton Rouge, and like Trump has never held a public office, but has been a donor for conservative politicians.

The Democrat Governor sounds more conservative than most Republicans.
The West Point graduate and former Army Ranger opposes abortion and gun restrictions, talks of working well with the Trump administration and calls the U.S. House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry a distraction to governing in Washington. He signed one of the nation’s strictest abortion bans.

Throughout his campaign, Edwards sought to make the election a referendum on his performance rather than a commentary on Louisiana views on national politics.

The Democratic incumbent contrasted three recent years of budget surpluses with the deficit-riddled terms of his predecessor, Republican Bobby Jindal.

It actually worked out for the best as Ralph Abraham is a Congressman, even though we probably would have picked another Republican to replace him should he have won.

Yeah, the Twitter clown got the count in the House wrong. He deleted the Tweet and put this up:

ICYMI: To sum up tonight: Republicans have flipped two seats in the LA State Senate and have thus created a supermajority in the chamber. They are two seats short of a supermajority in the LA State House, and looks like they’ll almost certainly win another seat, which means (1/2)

Trump got what he asked for in the Governor race and a huge bonus on the down ballot votes. Republicans will likely end up, after the Nov election, having all the statewide positions and a supermajority in both houses. Awesome work Louisiana.

The GOP just flipped EIGHT House seats and will have a SUPERMAJORITY in the State House and are on track to flip the State Senate to a Supermajority as well.

This will be the talk on all the Sunday news show, NOT! However, you can damn well bet if they has lost seats, it would be spun by the Rat media as evidence of Trump being guilty of something.

Gay State, please understand, they have a “jungle primary,” it’s a two-phase election for governor, top two in the final, and with these numbers, the GOP will almost certainly take the governorship.

De Long, it’s a jungle primary, no need for Republican candidates to “iron out” anything, the deciding election is next month, top Dem vs Top Republican.

Apparently, more than 90 percent of offshore oil rigs are in waters off Louisiana. The state also ranks second in crude oil and third in natural gas production, according to the Energy Information Administration, so fossil fuel energy production — which Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats hate with a passion — is a big part of the state’s economy, along with agriculture (ditto Dems’ distaste for farmers) and varied manufacturing, which is done in ‘evil’ factories, for which Democrats also have little use.

Why would anyone outside of New Orleans (is it still tourism-dependent?) vote for Dems and against their economic self-interest? So that men who say they “identify as women” (Good Lord...) can use little girls’ changing rooms and bathrooms and babies born alive can be killed post-delivery? What else are Democrats offering these days, besides never-ending tax increases and widespread economic ruin coupled with moral and societal bankruptcy?
