Occasional Cortex isn't as stupid as we think she is..... she was told the way to make millions was to get elected to Congress.

You got that right. And here's how she did it.

CHAPTER ONE: AOC's frickin' around tax dollars for staff salaries appear to be very calculated b/c she also benefited. She went from slobbing bar spills into Congress wearing $2000 outfit, $600 shoes, bags and watches, and $300 visits to the salon. She's a typical liberal hypocrite----- never mentions how she manipulated policy in the US Congress to get her boyfriend on the govt gravy train. Digging reveals suspicious payments to AOC’s boyfriend began early.

FACTS ON FILE
<><> Absent a waiver from House Ethics, family members have to be volunteers to get official house.gov email addresses,
<><> AOC's boyfriend got a govt email address immediately
<><> AOC doesn’t believe in having unpaid govt workers; according to her COS they have no office volunteers.
<><> So boyfriend Roberts is designated as staff but also isn’t "officislly" on AOC’s staff,
<><> yet Roberts showed up in the House directory as processing into AOC's personal office as a staffer.

That explains why AOC was so determined to pay "volunteers"---she and the b/f would richly benefit.

=====================================

The NY POST also reported that her campaign organization "Brand New Congress PAC" paid Ocasio-Cortez’s boyfriend, Riley Roberts, for marketing services after the PAC was hired by her campaign. Using the third-party PAC to pay her boyfriend may have violated campaign-finance laws, a lawyer for the Coolidge Reagan Foundation told The Post. “It is totally legal, as a candidate, to hire family members, people you know to work for you. But they didn’t do that,” said Attorney Dan Backer. “Instead of paying him directly, they paid him through an intermediary — in order to obscure the fact that they paid him.

The FEC should investigate and find out if that’s the case. That’s the allegation,” Backer added. The FEC is to investigate if the campaign violated finance laws that state campaign contributions “shall not be converted by any person to personal use.”

===============================================

CHAPTER TWO---NY POST REPORT: Feds are looking at new salary rules imposed by AOC, and whether they were put in place to let her then-COS Chakrabarti dodge public financial-disclosure rules, according to sources. AOC raised the salaries of junior staffers to just over $52,000 a year, her then-COS Chakrabarti took a massive pay cut. The Harvard grad and tech millionaire agreed to an annual salary of $80,000 — far less than the $146,830 average pay for his position. Because Chakrabati's salary was less than $126,000, congressional rules exempted him from having to disclose his outside income.

How is it AOC was once slobbing up bar spills and is now in Congress wearing $2000 outfits, $600 shoes, bags and watches and $300 salon visits?

BACKSTORY: “Justice Democrats” and “Brand New Congress” are a group of Bernie Sanders ex-staffers who decided 2018 midterms
should be all about Bernie’s policies, finding 400 Bernies to dump into races. They held auditions. AOC was hired to run in NY.

NOTE
<><> “Brand New Congress” mastermind is Saikat Chakrabarti
<><> “Justice Democrats” is Cenk Uygur, a Turkish-born Muslim.

Making a pile of money musta been a huge incentive. Read on.

FAST FORWARD TO TODAY.......an FEC complaint was filed alleging AOC’s COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, created multiple private companies—LLCs—to siphon off campaign contributions from her various PACs for personal use......

BTW, AOC has a lot more in common with Bernie than socialism. Besides socialism (gag)....
AOC’s COS used to be Bernie’s....wait for it.....”Director of Organizing Technology.”

AND THIS—Saikat Chakrabarti, is a proven tech expert.
(A) He co-founded a web design tool,
(B) He built up the product team at the payment processor “Stripe”.........
(C) He then came to the Sanders campaign after (cough) growing disillusioned with the tech world.

Saikat Chakrabarti was Bernie’s Director of Organizing Technology. Even old man Bernie knew enough to hire a tech expert.

So, I guess (smirk) Chakrabarti’s tech skills musta come in mighty handy when donations to Bernie were wire-transferred to the DNC and ended up in 2016 candidate Hillary’s account.

Debbie W/S headed the DNC at the time and was ousted b/c of her bias for Hillary.

Course, none of us heard about any of this, but.....
<><> Chakrabarti-the-tech-whiz did find out about the DNC theft, didnt he?
<><> Chakrabarti did speak to D/W/S about it, or to Debbie’s tech expert, Imran Awan, didnt he?
<><> Chakrabarti did tell Bernie he was fleeced, didnt he?
<><> Chakrabarti WAS working for Bernie, wasnt he?

Now the stunning details about that FEC complaint:

The FEC complaint asserts that AOC’s COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, early on established two PACs that raised big bucks for AOC’s campaign:
<><> the “Brand New Congress PAC,” and,
<><> the “Justice Democrats PAC.”

After mucho money was raised from the progressive suckers, Chakrabarti systematically transferred $885,000+ in PAC contributions to his private companies with similar names:
<><> the “Brand New Campaign LLC,” and,
<><> the “ Brand New Congress LLC.”

Saikat Chakrabarti’s private companies, unlike PACs, are exempt from reporting all of their significant expenditures.

NOTE WELL: it’s a much-used criminal act to enrich oneself, to open bank accounts using similarly named entities to siphon off money, to hide it from partners, associates, investors etc.

SIPHONINGS A CINCH It’s easy to siphon off money for oneself by putting checks into the new accounts with similar names, depositing checks that were made out to the original entity. Even your bank advises that if a check-writer “mis-spelled” your name, to just endorse the check with the correct name.

AND PRESTO: a check made out to Brand New Congress PAC, is deposited in the Brand New Congress LLC account.

===============================

ANALYSIS -— Chakrabarti’s companies appear to have been set up for the sole purpose of obscuring how AOC’s donations were used. The arrangement skirted reporting requirements and may have violated the $5,000 limit on contributions, according to the FEC complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group.

Campaign finance attorneys described the arrangement as “really weird” and an indication “there’s something amiss.” They said there was no way of telling where the political donations went — meaning (A) the donations could have been pocketed, or, (B) used by the LLC’s to pay for off-the-books campaign operations.-—SNIP-—SOURCED FROM FR.

JUST WONDERING .....does Chakrabarti have a reputation among Democraps for facilitating the conversion of campaign donations?

Maybe we should ask millionaire landowner Socialist Bernie (smirk)?

A friend has a hair business. Depending on the procedure asked for, any woman could easily pay $260.

They need credits for a certain amount of cuts, I guess. After meeting the student, my first question is always, “You’ve done this before, right?” The usual answer is, “Sure”, when the correct reply should be, “No, never.” Cracks me up every time. Last weekend I sat in the chair and gave the instructions for one inch on top several times. Watched her snap on a #1 guard - 1/8”. I’m pretty sure everyone in the place heard me exclaim, “WAITAMINUTE! What’s that?” She got the instructor. We got things cleared up. Hilarious.

Good night, nurse!! That’s a lotta money!

A combo of natural grey hair, a couple of stand-by wigs (left over from when I got cancer diagnosis), and $20 haircuts works for me. I pay $30, though, ‘cause I think she deserves it and it’s still less than what I paid in California.

How much is too much to blow on a new ‘do?

that depends on whether one is a member of the ruling paternalistic privileged elite or one of the masses

Not surprising an avowed communist can be a multi-millionaire months after arriving in DC.

I priced coloring in Fly over country $65, for a wash/dry, and cut it’s $30 and what you tip.

My usual is a wash/dry $20 plus tip. My hair is long and I have a tear in my Right Shoulder.

You can buy a box of hair color for under $10.

Not in NYC. A kid I taught has his own place in Chelsea. I paid him $225 to do a great job on my daughter’s hair. That was a 50% discount. Great job BTW. If there is a complaint here it should be from AOC herself. She got a lousy job for $250.

when she was first elected she wanted advanced pay because she couldn’t afford an apartment in DC. Now a year later she lives in a townhouse and blows momey on $260 haircuts. Making the sacrafice to be a public servant sure does solve all your money problems fast.

My daughter has cut my hair since she was 12, not a complicated cut, but I like it better than the salon job.

Of course, I’ve never had an upscale cut to compare.

Yep I always pay $50 plus a tip. $100 for foiling. Well worth it. If you have long hair you can’t just walk in to any old salon or you will walk out with a bob.

It’s OUR money. And if Congress critters can get such expensive hairdos, they are taking too much of OUR money. She doesn’t have any money.

I changed salons because a cut/color/highlight here in flyover country was approaching $200 with tip. It just seemed like the gal was tacking on another $10-15 every trip, and my hair is not even long.
