Yup. While we can question the wisdom of legislating the subsidy, insofar as it exists there’s no question anyone who can take it should. EVs are, if they fit your needs, a great joy.
Unfortunately I don’t have a pot of public money to set myself up like that.
STOP IT! Just stop it with all your “hate math”.
Thats from roasting aborted babies by battery heat. Nothing wasted, very green. A neocannibal foil-cooked take-home dinner thingy.
Forgot to add this about my capitalistic Tesla driving friend. He is a very humble and generous man. If you did not know him personally you would have no idea he is rich. At our glider club he is just another glider pilot but he does own a glider that is most great. This same man has done things for the glider club with his check book that was totally anonymous. He is a good capitalist!
That's why I'm secretly developing “Luna Panels” and offering my liberal friends a chance to get in on the ground floor...they are dying to invest!...../s
Sure, but that’s a distinction without a difference when sitting in the dark watching the food in the freezer spoil.
If not for that law, the lights & freezer would be running. Nobody sane would install “on-grid only” without legislative blocks.
"Data of my Tesla Solar panels from September (3/4 of the month)
Our family is now able to power all the home appliances & charge the Tesla Model 3 with Clean & Free Solar energy!!"

5000Kw maybe
It would be absolutely MASSIVE!
That would require well over 6,000 HORSEPOWER JUST TO SPIN THE BEAST!!!
Maybe check your ciphering?
Methinks you can drop the three zeros?
You wouldn't need a 6-speed, or any differentials, or driveshafts....just a big generator hamging off your "fat V8".. It already has a superior AWD system that you probably can't wear out or break.
That's the only good thing about electrics and hybrids...they eliminated the major mechanical components of the drivetrains. It likely has a lot to do with how they get those fantastic 0-100 acceleration specs.
To be honest I don’t know the details, it may be people couldn’t afford it otherwise without you helping to subsidize it. I don’t care, they voted themselves into it.
The radio blurb at the top of the hour talking about it mentioned some winery tasting bar was lit by candles and they had some airhead gushing “I kind of like it!!” Ya can’t fix stupid. They’ve successfully demonized “greedy” power companies. Notice all the pols screeching it’s “unacceptable!” for PGE to turn the juice off. This is a problem that took many years to fully form, but it illustrates nicely why leftist policies create disasters wherever they are found.
Vincent's definition of free is a bit different than mine. He says in the tweet that he has 39 panels that generate ~12KW. He didn't say how much he paid, but the average cost of a basic system of that size is $25K after the tax credit. If he has the Powerwall backup battery, it is even more.
