All this isn't happening based on your time frame. This epic government corruption has been going on many decades. They've been weaponized and have controlled everything in government. This D.C. swamp is as big as the east coast and 10,000 feet deep.
It takes a bit of time to choke off and kill these snakes.

And don’t mistake me for a “moderate” or even a closet RAT — as one individual did a couple weeks ago, which prompted an incandescently angry response that is totally out of character for me, but I believe was warranted by the slander. I even emailed Jim Robinson and offered to resign my membership, but got no response.
I bring this up because even the best-natured people can only be pushed so far. Conservatives have been slow to react to this crisis — or any political crisis really — because at heart we detest politics and just want to live our lives in peace.
Our foes no longer merit the term “liberal,” which in its classical form entails a devotion to individual liberty. The Founding Fathers were liberals by the standards of their time.
No, the proper term today is “leftist,” and to judge by the antics of Antifa, et. al., “totalitarian thugs” might be a better term.
While I believe Trump, Barr, Durham, and a core group of patriots are laying a trap for the RATs, it may be up to local militia groups to identify Antifa terrorists and subject them to vigilante justice.
The punishment for Antifa membership should be summary execution, with no exemptions based on youth or gender.
I read a fascinating article a few months ago — I forget where — speculating on the destruction a couple of well-positioned sniper teams could inflict on an Antifa riot.
