President Trump Is Absolutely Right To Assume Federal Agencies Are Against Him
The Federalist ^ | 10/04/2019 | Inez Feltscher Stepman

Too many of the unelected bureaucrats who staff the alphabet soup agencies seem to feel entitled to circumvent the will of the American people when it conflicts with their priors.

The real scandal of the Ukrainian debacle that continues to lead every cable broadcast is that, once again, the actions of unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats have deeply affected an election in United States.

In recent days, it has come out not only that the intelligence community inspector general changed policy about secondhand information to fit this particular whistleblower complaint, but also that the whistleblower him- or herself was working with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and House Democrats before filing the complaint.

Of the swamp, by the swap, and for the swamp.

Federal employees are anything but neutral administrators of the law. Fully 95 percent of donations from those working for agencies went to Hillary Clinton in 2016. And a web of civil service laws built over the past century effectively inures them to the consequences of defying the elected and appointed officials tasked by our political process with captaining the ship of state.
It takes up to two years to fire a federal worker, even those convicted of felonies while on the job. Four different appeal routes and a flowchart’s worth of avenues prevent most managers from even trying to rid themselves of incompetent or outright insubordinate employees.

Which was a FELONY, anything after this date is furtherance of a Seditious Conspiracy to Overthrow the United States Presidency. And every person involved is guilty of the same, including the ICIG!!! By the way the ICIG as soon as he learned of the previous contact with Schiff and his staff, should have referred the SPY and his Colleagues over to the DOJ for Immediate Prosecution.

The federal police state and IC agencies are the most dangerous. He needs to defang them or he’s toast. Where do you think the “whistleblowers” are coming from.

He’s got to put in some moles on his side and find out dirt on all federal agents to be used as needed. He can’t trust anyone even his own appointments. Start with doj. Lots of traitor trash there.

I wish Pompeo would reverse the rule put into effect just after Trump's election or inauguration that State buildings wouldn't put pictures of the Pres, VP and SecState at the front entrances anymore.

It can be done. I have seen what is known as a ‘responsive personnel system’ get rid of whoever significantly annoyed management in NAVAIR. One upper level civil service type said ‘We win even if we lose. The guy will go bankrupt from legal fees, lose his house and probably his marriage and spend several years fighting to get his job back. If we lose he will be a pariah and will spend however long he works as someone management deliberately gives exhausting and pointless tasks to and who constantly spies on and snoops after. So even if we lose we win.’

I know first hand of a Federal manager who, in front of several individuals, advocated for someone assassinating Trump.

A bureaucracy was designed to serve a
prussian monarch, a dictator, or authoritarian. The so called “spoils” system was better. A president should be able to fill the executive branch with people who intend to execute his policies....rather than “execute” his policies.

Did you notify the Secret Service? Names, dates, times?

"President Trump Is Absolutely Right To Assume Federal Agencies Are Against Him"

Jimmy Carter kicked open the door to Democrat infestation of Federal Agencies when he unilaterally declared the Federal Government to be the "employer of last resort"

Real Americans are absolutely right to assume that federal agencies are against us. That is why we voted for President Trump, and that is why they are fighting so hard to stop him.

These government employees are breaking their contract with the American people.

The government employees complained that there was too much political patronage in the government agencies.

So the American people went along with the government union and all the protections that make it nearly impossible to fire a government employee.

In return, the government employees would stay out of politics.

The government employees have their protections and the Democrat Party use those protections as cover to attack Republicans.

If the deal is over, then the deal is over.

Fire all the government employees.

I guess I have to see I disagree a bit from my experience.
I’ve been a federal employee for 25 years and therefore have worked under both Democrat and Republican presidents. The ship turns very slowly either way, but my supervisor (and upper management)—trust me—obey the directive of those above them at the Presidential appointee level (ie Cabinet head on down). Long time civil servants sometimes do refer to them as the “Christmas help” though—as they come and go.

One of the problems is that Trump did not clean house when he took office. I worked at one Federal agency and was flabbergasted that no change took place when Trump took office; in fact it became even worse than under Obama’s admin. The management and policies was awash in Liberal/leftist dogma. For example, the philosophy of the management was that the greatest thing that a work force can achieve is diversity. Having a diverse workforce is more important than having qualified people. Also the management was much more liberal than the workforce. By the way, everything also became more top-down and it was difficult to influence decision making at the top. Security also became a top priority, with a unreasonable portion of the budget going to security, which also could be used to better control the workforce. I’m sure this style must have extended to our national security agencies as well!

I am glad to hear that. However, I believe that there is too much anti-Trump activity among some federal employees, and believe it’s likely that Trump needs to get rid of some appointed bureaucrats, possibly some of his own appointees.
