Fake hate-crime report at Christian school fuels hoax ‘epidemic’
The Washington Times ^ | Monday, September 30, 2019 | Valerie Richardson

Black Virginia girl who accused white boys of cutting her dreadlocks recants

It sounded almost too outrageous to be true: A black girl attacked during recess at a private Christian school by three white boys who cut off her dreadlocks. As it turns out, it wasn’t true.

The racially charged allegations made by 12-year-old Amari Allen were false, according to statements by her family and Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Virginia, the latest example of what author and professor Wilfred Reilly calls an “epidemic of hoax hate crimes.”

“I would say most of the highly publicized hate crime incidents in the recent past have in fact turned out to be hoaxes,” said Mr. Reilly, author of “Hate Crime Hoax: How the Left is Selling a Fake Race War.”

He said his research revealed 409 confirmed falsified hate crimes concentrated in the past five years, a number that has grown since he submitted the manuscript to more than 600, including high-profile incidents involving actor Jussie Smollett — who has denied faking a race-based attack — and the Covington Catholic boys.

The Immanuel Christian episode featured several hallmarks of what Mr. Reilly describes as “characteristics of a probable hate hoax”: a “remarkable cinematic story”; an unlikely setting, in this case an upscale school playground; an accuser or family focused on talking to the media, and a crowdfunding campaign.

ditto Duke lacrosse. Ludicrous claim, no facts, but the “perpetrators” were the ideal villains, according to the PC narrative.

Question — what does it say about these activists and liberal types, that they feel a strong need, to perpetrate hoaxes about how racist , bigoted, homophobic etc that our society is?

Follow up question —. What does it say about allegedly bigoted conservative types, that they are NOT actually carrying out these behaviors?

Final question- will the media ever delve into the first two questions, when hoaxes are exposed?

So will the consequences to the perpetuator of the hoax be as harsh as what would have happened to the boys had the story been true? Of course not. It never seems to be.

The boys’ futures in school, university admissions, and social media gossip noted by prospective employers could have damned them to an eternal apology and third-class citizen status.

Their families would have been pariahs in their community, and I can imagine the terrible blow-back with their parents’ employers, not to mention any associations.

These hoaxes are nothing more than digital lynchings.

Their must be severe consequences for these malicious, deliberate lies.

This hoax epidemic is actually a good thing. It will put people in “innoncent until proven guilty” mode big time. No more trials by public opinion. Or, at least it will be harder.

twelve year old is pretty young to come up with such nonsense. I suspect a parent or other influential adult put her up to it.

Too many people will remember the original hoax story. Too few people will remember the retraction.

I’d say she was put into this school with the hopes of making her a better person. Her grandparents are doing a good job.

Nowadays everybody wants to be a victim. In schools they no longer teach kids to admire great war heroes or people who actually did something. Instead they teach kids to admire victims, people who overcame some kind of “ism” or “phobia” against them. As soon as someone can claim to be a victim, they get attention, sympathy, admiration, and often money and other rewards. The only ones who can’t ever claim to be victims are white, straight males. The last thing liberals want is for white, straight males to never commit hate crimes. So if no white, straight males are committing hate crimes, liberals must fake it.

Even the golfer Eldrick Woods (better known by his nickname, which I refuse to use) once played this game, claiming that had been racially harassed when he was in kindergarten—an incident that his kindergarten teacher, who was still living, as well as classmates said never happened.

And the retraction headline was materially different than the original headline.

I suspect the first one was much more prominently featured in the paper.

Liberals so strongly believe that conservatives are bigots, racists, homophobes, etc, that they believe that fear keeps “minorities” from reporting the crimes to the police. So they make up the crimes to “expose” conservatives for the haters they are, never once believing they will get exposed.

It says the same thing about conservatives that it does about Trump; i.e. that while we dislike certain lifestyles, and are smart enough to stay away from the bad part of town, and as long as you don’t try to force liberal propaganda down our children’s throats by telling them the oceans are going to boil away and that boys can menstruate, too, that we really don’t care what you do or are. We pick our socks by their color. We pick our friends by their character.

Put it on the literal fake hate crimes list: http://fakehatecrimes.org/

More than a thousand entries.

Every case hits the national news, fomenting hate against men, whites and conservatives ... and the retractions rarely hit the national news but never get the major coverage.

It is only the recent cases proven fake so quickly like Smollett that get any national admission when it is proven fake.

Covington Kids - liberal bullies pile into a hate mob and foment hatred and use the STAGED hate crime to justify political demands.

It is depressing how many of these cases are PROFESSORS and professional activists. They’re teaching our kids AND teaching both the methods and justifications for it.

Turner had also promoted a haircare product line developed by Allen’s family.

Mikea Turner, a Washington D.C. TV reporter who first broke the since-discredited story of an alleged assault of 12-year-old Amari Allen, tweeted over five times earlier in the day advocating for local politicians to pass a bill prohibiting discrimination based on hairstyle, the Daily Caller reported Wednesday.

Summary: this fake hate crime could be for both political gain AND personal profit.
