What defines and separates “Western civilization” in your opinion?
and which countries are “Western”?
I thought I knew but then after meeting various French English, german, Poles and Russians, Greeks etc. I don’t quite know it any more
It hasn't been PC to say so since the turn of the 20th Century, but in my opinion it's Christian Civilization. It's the civilization that was born in the Renaissance, Reformation and Counter-Reformation in Western Europe. It's the civilization that gave dignity and respect to women and children. That created the idea that our Creator endowed us with certain inalienable rights that no temporal government can take away. That gave birth to the greatest scientific and artistic achievements of any civilization.
As that civilization decays it's getting more and more difficult to define the countries that still embody it.
Your post #42 is exactly correct.
And that is why they seek to destroy it.
The areas sinking into darkness and evil, are the same ones who are trying to destroy Christianity.
The religion that presented us our God given BIRTH rights of Freedom, self-determination, and self protection.
And like you said, women’s rights, the value of children, and caring for each other.
You said it perfectly.
But yet you have eastern Europe, Georgia, Armenia, Ethiopia as ancient Christian civilisations
