The Reno-Tahoe International Airport publicly apologized to Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren after she was pursued by Trump supporters yesterday through airport.

A video posted by the Nevada GOP on social media shows protesters following Warren as she went through the public area of the airport. Republican protesters were chastising her, calling her “Pocahontas.”

The group said that it was protesting attempts to impeach President Trump as Warren once again visited Northern Nevada on her campaign. (Warren is a senator; the impeachment process to date has been led by House of Representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi.)

Those actions violated airport rules, however, said Brian Kulpin, airport spokesperson.

“The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority apologizes to Senator and Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren for the small group of protesters who gathered at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) yesterday in violation of airport policies,” Kulpin said. “Airport Police and security were not given prior notice of the candidate’s arrival on a commercial flight or of the gathering of protesters.

No doubt they would apologize to PDJT if some anti American protestors showed up there right to yell at him? NOT! With video.

This is why no woman should be President. She’ll get her feelings hurt if Vlad or Xi says something.

Bet they wouldn’t apologize if some air traffic controllers screwed up and crashed some planes.

Sucking up to slimeball politicians is much more important than actual airport operations, dontyaknow...

If it had been done to a Republican there would be no apology.

It has been. Former NV senator Dean Heller was harassed at the airport in a similar manner while still in office and RNO issued no apology.

Is this the airport policy these protestors violated? How many people are aware that this so-called policy exists and if it does, then didn't Lie-a-watha violate the policy as well?

To be fair to the airport, there might be some obscure law that prohibits Native Americans from being harassed at a transportation facility.

And - I'd go a little further in that it is SOLELY Lie-a-watha that violated the "policy" as the protesters were only there because she was there.

As a matter of fact, it's entirely possible that those "protestors" were other passengers that just happened to see her and confront her.

Public Airport?

They can’t make policies violating free speech.

Sorry.

What a joke. If Fauxcahontas can’t take the heat from a few protesters, she’s not ready to be the President of the United States. She needs to go back to her more commie-friendly job as a “college professor”.

Given her known proclivities, she probably would like to fly a private. She’d likely pay with campaign funds.

If it had been done to a Republican there would be no apology.

It was done to a Nevada Republican in 2018 and there was no apology.

Of course there wasn't any complaint then either...Nevada Dims are just thin skinned.
