That’s too bad.
Bernie Sanders would have been fine under Medicare-for-All.
He is, after all, one of the elite. US Senators will always be well cared for, even if the mass of Americans have to line up for three days for an Z-Pack.
Thank God our president has strengthened Medicare. The in depth analysis of its problems as well as its strengths has allowed the president’s commission on Medicare to craft rules that will substantially strengthen and protect this important and valuable program.
Nonsense
Bernie is at the age when 99% of American get Medicare already.
Bernie’s processing depended on his condition and doctor availability.
Under Medicare for All, if a low income black man is having a heart attack and you have angina, you’ll wait.
an active MI is always triaged before angina.
Dont be an ass.
Excellent piece. “Sub-Medicaid” for all, with statistics.
If I didn’t own a house and had Bernie’s condition, I’d be waiting to die.
I’m still curious as to why the old curmudgeon didn’t go to Canada or Denmark or another single-payer country...
The NHS is the UK’s largest employer.
That’s why socialists love single payer.
It’s a jobs program for bureaucrats.
Maybe at his age, he would be offered a pill to make him comfortable.
Under Medicare for all everyone but the government dictators will wait regardless. Theyll be the last to suffer the dearth of doctors. Look at any socialist medical system in Europe. Look at Venezuela. You think those people are getting medical care just because theyre actively dying MI or not?
People dont think this through. Medicare has been operating in bankruptcy for years. Care diminishes regularly, incrementally
The government does not generate money. The payment to that system comes from workers. The users are workers plus everyone else. Medical people wont get paid. There wont be money for innovation and research. These will decrease.
Triage will resemble battlefield triage. Priority will adjust. And government officials as in all dictatorships will have the best medical care
Think of it. Congress people- and I use that word lightly- do not fall under Obamacare.
I guess the affects of having to work once in his life have taken hold.
BTW, has anybody in the media called this a heart attack?
He’s still in the hospital - in lieu of an MI, he should have gone home the next day.
Ummm...Sanders could have died under any health care system. Just sayin’.
Curious what his plan is? Obamacare?
Why Bernie didn’t insist on getting Cuban healthcare said it all.
What a goofy premise.
Party bigwigs will always get top notch healthcare in communistic systems.
