A second front in the internal war at Fox News that is pitting news and opinion personalities against one another broke out into the open on Sunday. Unlike the first on air skirmish last week, in which Tucker Carlson and Shepard Smith went at it – each attacking the other on his own show – this time the conflict pitted two Fox News personnel against each other in a hostile exchange live on the same program.
The venue was Sunday’s early morning weekend edition of its Fox & Friends program. Mark Levin, the conservative author, attorney, and radio talk show host whose own program Life, Liberty & Levin airs Sunday evenings on Fox News, appeared live from his Levin TV studio to comment on the Democrats’ rush to impeach President Trump. Soon after the interview started, Levin got into it with one of the show’s three co-hosts in New York, Ed Henry, who used to work at CNN. Henry recently returned to work at FNC after taking several months of medical leave after donating part of his liver to his critically ill sister who needed an organ transplant.
The 13-minute segment began on an upbeat note with program co-host Pete Hegseth introducing Levin as “the great one” – a nickname given to Levin by Sean Hannity. Levin then took five minutes to lay out his case criticizing the Democrats’ efforts to impeach the president based on the infamous July 25 phone conversation between Trump and Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky.
It was then Ed Henry’s turn to ask Levin a question. Henry, it should be noted, is considered a Fox News news, as opposed to Fox opinion, person. His challenge to Levin, repeated twice, appeared to provoke Levin. Henry:

LEVIN's RESPONSE:
First of all, your question is not honest. So I don’t give yes or no answers [Crosstalk]. Let me finish, Ed. You have all morning. I have two minutes. It’s not an honest question. Show me in the [July 25] transcript where the president [Trump] said that.
HENRY: I don't have it in front of me.
LEVIN: Nowhere. Nowhere. . . If you guys in the media would do your damn job and ask Joe Biden what the hell’s going on, maybe the president wouldn’t have to raise the issue.
I watched that exchange this morning. Levin just brings the whole spear to a very sharp point and then throws it right on target. It was epic.
The right is finally getting to where they can show righteous indignation right on the air. The left (even on fox) has jumped so many sharks on this Ukraine thing that their position is not only unsupportable, but easily debunked and destroyed - taking them with it.
It’s about time.

I like Ed Henry, but that question was a very sloppy characterization of the situation with Trump and Ukraine.
HENRY: “I don't have it in front of me.”
Ed Henry’s career as a “journalist” should have ended right there. Asking a question and then having your interview subject expose your ignorance like this is should be a career-ending disgrace.
Quick! Somebody ping Ed Henry. It was recently divulged that CYA Director John Brennan traveled to Ukraine using a fake passport to dig up dirt on candidate Trump. Go get ‘em, Ed!
Fox must have separate employee facilities (washrooms, lunchrooms) for right and left. Their push to have more lefties represented will certainly cause upset at headquarters. It would be like a tense family dinner....every day! And they can’t say “let’s not talk politics” because, well, news!
It won’t be, though, because Fox is trying to trade it’s audience for the one CNN has.
Kristinn Fischer essentially asked the same question yesterday. I was disappointed as I had thought of her as straight down the middle.
She earned her way onto my ‘listen carefully’ list.
How can a “reporter” go on the air without having read the phone call transcript. It’s only a few pages.
Fox is also betting that Comcast will not add OANN (One America News Network) to their lineup. If OANN ever gets added, Fox news will lose a lot of viewers.

And Biden.......The whistler picked the wrong conversation to complain about. The conversation was defended by revealing Biden publicly bragging about getting the Ukraine prosecutor fired or he would withhold the billion dollars. Now the MSM can't ignore this blatant corruption and it will be the end of Biden..........
Our wealthy overlords have decided that we have been given a little too much to think by “Old Fox” so they are bringing out “New Coke”, Er, “New Fox”.
You are seriously underestimating the Brown Shirt Media’s ability to ignore.
And it won’t help the MSM either.

Yes, a bit sloppy. What if Ed Henry had said this instead:
“So you’re okay with a president asking another president to investigate a candidate?”
For me that would have been fine. For Levin I’m not so sure. But the simple answer is that CANDIDACY does not equal IMMUNITY. It sure didn’t for Trump and doesn’t for Biden either.
But not to confuse anyone who thinks I am equating those two activities I’m not. The Trump Investigation was a wide and deep conspiracy based on made up evidence. The proposed Biden investigation was a simple request to add Biden to a hoped for corruption investigation by Ukraine. And you can find the justification for that request on YouTube. At least for awhile.
“F” Ed henry and anyone who supports him. He has made his decision.
