The Left needs to keep racism alive. The 0bomb led the groundwork for its revival after its low ebb, and the lefties black and white strive to keep it alive.
Take an emotional and low self-esteem teenager, especially a girl.
Coddle her and tell her that her emotions are “valid.” Give instant and immediate access to all social media. Reduce attention span and logical thought processes to near zero.
Fill her with victimhood stories of race and sex, and tell her the world intends to demean her - unless she becomes a convert to the church of progressivism, where she will find shelter.
This is the state of America’s children today.

I think it can be said that anytime a minority accuses a white, or group of whites, of committing some abusive act such as this, that it will become as national story.
And it seems that a high percentage of the stories prove to be hoaxes. Looks like at some point the media would learn to ignore such stories until they have been thoroughly investigated. But most of the media just can’t resist.
Standard obligatory reaction from media/libs/low infos: “She has to be telling the truth, nobody does that to themselves”.
Default reaction from normal people: “Ho hum, another hoax scam...watch the media wet themselves from glee”.
