Moving 5000 Marines off the island will surely tip it over.

Why does Guam need a wall? Sure reads like that in the header. We didn’t need one in 1947 when my dad got stationed there.

If they vow not to refund it, then it must not be that important.

Just put a giant outboard motor on one side of any island and drive it like a boat anywhere you want to go.

But, but think of all those Japanese soldiers hiding in the jungles! I still remember the warning signs about going into the jungle back in 1968!

I hope they don’t divert any funding from regular size Guam.

Democraps should be happy, especially Hank Johnson.

No worries of tipping over now.

Guam gets constant construction projects because Pacific Typhoons continually sweep over it and damage everything.

So, the funds are needed there.

On the other hand diverting money away just doesn’t build something that would have to be rebuilt yet again in three or four of five or ten years anyway.

It’s a cost of maintaining bases in the north Pacific.

We lived in quonset huts with active japs still in the mountains and we survived a couple typhoons. And that was before they started naming them and well ahead of CLIMAGEDDON! :-)
