Fred Fleitz. Former CIA , NSA official
1/ As a former CIA analyst and former NSC official who edited transcripts of POTUS phone calls with foreign leaders, here are my thoughts on the whistleblower complaint which was just released. . .
2/ This is not an intelligence matter. It is a policy matter and a complaint about differences over policy. Presidential phone calls are not an intelligence concern. The fact that IC officers transcribe these calls does not give the IC IG jusrisdiction over these calls.
3/ It appears that rules restricting access and knowledge of these sensitive calls was breached. This official was not on this call, not on the approved dissem list and should not have been briefed on the call.
The way this complaint was written suggested the author had a lot of help. I know from my work on the House Intel Commitee staff that many whistleblowers go directly to the intel oversight committees. Did this whistleblower first meet with House Intel committee members?
4/ It is therefore important that Congress find out where this complaint came from. What did House and Senate intel committee dem members and staff know about it and when? Did they help orchestrate this complaint?
5/ My view is that this whistleblower complaint is too convenient and too perfect to come from a typical whistleblower. Were other IC officers involved? Where outside groups opposed to the president involved?
6/ This complaint will further damage IC relations with the White House for many years to come because IC officers appear to be politicizing presidential phone calls with foreign officials and their access to the president and his activities in the White House.
7/ Worst of all, this IC officer -- and probably others -- have blatantly crossed the line into policy. This violates a core responsibility of IC officers is to inform, but not make policy.
8/ This is such a grevious violation of trust between the IC and the White House that it would not surprise me if IC officers are barred from all access to POTUS phone calls with foreign officials.
Mark Levin called it a “legal brief”, that without question was prepared by lawyers. House Intel Committee is nothing but lawyers, and their staff too.
He’s a spy. If he is loyal American he should name all of his sources so they can be fired, prosecuted, and jailed. If he won’t, the CIA should dismiss him, else admit that he is their spy in the White House. Trump should then fire the CIA director.
He didn’t get help. He helped the master-minds of this plot.
“Hes a spy.”
No. This was all planned and executed by Soros and Schiff.
I am SO tired of all these unnamed and anonymous sources. I remember noticing this a lot since Trump was elected. Never noticed that before.
All of the swamp has Hunter Biden issues. Trump must not be allowed to put the self serving criminal juggernaut that is Washington at risk.
After reading the ‘brief’ and having worked in the intel community for while, I would make these three observations:
1. It’s written by someone who writes long-winded and PhD-level products for some intel agency. It almost comes across as a thesis-type product.
2. Person seems to have a fair number of details over the Ukraine, and you just have to wonder if they cover that area as their job.
3. The guy spent a heck of a lot of time at the ‘water-cooler’ and collecting intelligence info from fellow workers. It would bother me (to the extreme) if I found out he was my associate, and he’d baited me as a ‘source’. In some ways, he’s a ‘self-licking ice cream cone’.....his own intelligence agency, and collecting against some ‘enemy’.
Finally, just my humble view....he spent an awful lot of time writing, proofing, and gathering this data. What’s his actual real job? Was he spending 20 man-hours a week working on this....instead of real work?
trump hasn’t put anyone at risk from Hillary on down Nothing will happen to Hunter or Joseph Biden, they will walk free as Trump has allowed the others to do.
BTM, Levin and others have made the exact same proclamations. These proclamations while accurate are meaningless. The dems do not give a damn. They do not care whatsoever about rules, regs, norms or, laws.
They are on a pure mission of political destruction. Nothing less. And, most people are in denial about this fact. And, most importantly, most republicans are still playing by the Old Rules of Gentlemanly “respect” for the other side.
Making nice sounds of Bi-Partisan Collegiality and, we must come together for the good of the people.
They are clueless AND worthless in this fight because they refuse to even acknowledge there is a fight.
The reality is, we are in a FIGHT for the Heart and Soul of America, and the kind of future we will leave for our children.
Bankrupt Socialism or Freedom, and Liberty, and Opportunity.
I agree. This whole thing was a set up.
Fred Fleitz was on Laura Ingraham program and said he had thought it was written by a team of attorneys until he got a call from a GOP congress staffer/ member who suggested this whistleblower document was a GROUP PROJECT

Also Mark Levin was on Hannity and had the document that was the whistleblower letter dated Aug 12 sent directly to Adam Schiff & committee. So Schiff had it all along and they raked McQuire over the coals in the hearing this morning about not sending the whistleblower report right away.

Well, if hes spending ONLY 20 hours a week not doing real work during the weeks duty hours... hes probably not a federal employee. ;-)
Do you EVER tire of your endless negatism and your trolling, You are getting tiresome.
you don’t tire with criminals walking around but you tire of me pointing it out. Here’s a hint, ignore me like you do the issue.
We’ll see. All I can do is hope you’re wrong and send more to Trump.
My first vote for someone is on promise. My second is on results.

Kinda like Christine Blasey Ford was a group project. I do believe this latest wrinkle to the RATS modus operandi is becoming SOP for them.
Give Bill Kristol and Romney our regards.
BS Can’t stand the truth go to anther thread.
