You’re forgetting that she won her seat by beating a long-time Democrat in the 2018 primary. I believe she has at least FOUR primary opponents lined up to challenge her in 2020.
Just give her a platform and a microphone and stand back.

I have been thinking about the politics of all this, and I am starting to realize that the two phenomenon that appear to be in play are not necessarily in conflict of each other. The question is, which one will win out in the most places wherever elections are being held. See, we tend to think about the politics in terms of presidential election itself. As this article raises, the question is, what happens in each seat.
So it’s not JUST about shifting independents and softly lodged moderates of each side over with either of the two following manifestations of the constant hammering of Trump by the democrats and complicit media, it’s about targeting districts in play with a more focus approach.
1) Calling orange man bad ten thousand times a week will eventually wear people down to relent, much like peer pressure can, or how prisoners or targets of interrogation are worn down. They simply lose their will, and decide that there are other things more important to fight for. They back down their associative defiance.
2) Constantly crying wolf will reinforce that all things anti-trump are not legitimate and not only unfairly treat him but also the people he was elected to serve, thereby raising his stature as resilient champion.
I would contend that both are in play in almost everyone’s psyche, but manifest differently depending on which side they fall on. A die hard Trump supporter feels provoked by (1) and comforted by (2), in that they will not relent defiance and they feel vindicated when attacks against him fail. An anti-Trumper will feel aided by (1) and provoked by (2), as attacks validate their fear and anger, but when the the attacks (we believe crying wolf) fail, they grow more desperate.
But neither of those two groups matter much here. The question is, how do you move the rest... the non die-hards. Can you wear them down that Trump is bad, or do they start to see it all as crying wolf? More importantly, how do you move them in the distracts that are up for grabs.
This might be the first thing I’ve ever agreed with her on. They should go full speed ahead, right into the 2020 ditch.

All the Democrats have to do is find someone of similar background (and a little less crazy) provide them with money and support and AOC and the squad are gone.
Now, that is if the real power in the DNC wants them gone.
They are after all doing a good job of stirring up the base and being a pain in the butt for the rest of us.
