I suspect we already have a copy of the server but are shopping for ways to find a legitimate source to make it available without jeopardizing our methodology and sources. I’m not so sure we’d be asking for something if we didn’t already know the facts. I have no inside knowledge so I may be completely wrong but it’s just a suspicion I have.

Well we certainly have reasons to ask for it.
The blaming of the hacking on the Russians alone is sufficient to ask for it.
The deleting of 30,000 emails is reason to ask for it.
The fact that they didn’t want the FBI to look it at it during a Democrat administration is reason to ask for it.
This is exactly what the Dems want....hyper Media....Just like with Russia Gate...Stormy Gate...Muller Gate....And now Impeachment Gate ...and any other thing they can suck the publics attention away from their corruption and lawlessness......and it’s been that way since Trump began his run in 2016.

Yes but here, we are speaking of evidence in a criminal investigation, specifically, into Russian or other 3rd party penetration into the DNC server and related emails during the 2016 election. And, there is a good chance the 33,000 “missing” Hillary Clinton emails could be there also. The FBI under the disgraced, fired director Jim Comey was NEGLIGENT in not taking an image copy of the DNC server when the DemocRATS complained that they had been hacked. The FBI never even checked to see if that claim was true. Meanwhile, Seth Rich a DNC staffer there, was MURDERED, and many suspect that was revenge because HE actually COPIED the DNC files to a flash drive, and gave the info to WikiLeaks. You see, the bandwidth into the DNC system was so constricted that the Russians COULDN’T have hacked it and sucked out the info - the data transfer rate was too high. If that is what happened, and I do believe it is, then there is absolutely NO chain of custody nor chain of evidence, and frankly, nothing said by any "security expert" referring to the case can be taken seriously.

Not sure you know the back story.
DNC claimed their server was hacked. FBI “investigated” but was denied access to the server. FBI didn’t try to get it.
A DNC and Clinton affiliated company whitewashed the whole thing, and FBI accepted their fraudulent analysis.
Then apparently DNC sent the thing out of country to make sure nobody got to it.
I can’t say a lot more. I don’t think you know the story.
A proper FBI could do the criminal forensic investigation on the server (which it is said would have implicated them in Seth Rich’s murder) and could have redacted stuff that was _only_ politically helpful to Trump.
Ask that Air-force retiree that’s started posting two months ago, the one that gives out a hostile lawyer vibe for every interaction. She might have an opinion.
