I continue to fight doctors offices over id “For insurance purposes” or “because it’s required” or whatever the reason du jour might be. Some of the office managerettes get downright Hitlerian.
SS I just refuse to give...usually works.
But so many just let them scan their info without a care.
Look, I know they can get and probably have all this already but I still refuse every chance i get.
I don’t show Wal-Mart id to buy peas...I am not doing it to get a shot.
Who gets number 666? Oh, that’s right. We ALL do.
I give the last 4 numbers of SS...if I HAVE to....and then there are all the personal questions....”Do you feel safe in your home?” (Got asked that at the Opthamalogists a while back)...Or, “Have you fallen recently?” or...others about your mental health. Generally I skip the written ones, and look at them funny when they verbally ask weird questions.
