Of course rapists will tend to vote Democrat. Democrats always defend rapists if they are also Democrats.
Confusion about rape is just part of the general confusion that is leftist thinking.
Although they recoil in horror at the thought of a man's complimenting an employee on her coiffure or using the wrong pronoun, they tend to excuse rape or sexual assault committed by one of their designated victims, especially if it feeds their sense of xenophila.
