Let me tell you what you really mean:
YOU consider them white, and I think many of them do, too.
But very many of them don't think of themselves that way and what a person thinks of himself --a completely non-tangible thing-- really DOES matter.
When such matters as slavery, etc. are tossed around on Twitter a great many Jews chime in about it, how it's bad, how that history is shameful and I agree on all that.
But a final shot is often, "How fortunate that I am not white --I am Jewish" or 100 variations on those words.
After awhile, it really does make an impression on you.
Some Jews think that and many do not, but the really important thing is when that comes up, NO Jew jumps in to say, "Are you out of your mind? OF COURSE you are white..!!"
But chime in simply that you NOTICE this recurring theme --that others consider them white while THEY do not, and in NO time (including this one, as you see several posts above) you find people leaping out of the woodwork to beat up on you.
There is a very prominent group that goes around crowing, "The best steak is made from Sacred Cows...!" and they double over laughing, fancying this to be very orginal thinking.
But gore THEIR ox..?
Oh, to them, that is QUITE another thing altogether and they will absolutely not be laughing.
Their power is the power to SHUT DOWN dialogue regarding them, anywhere and everywhere, at any time.
