Actually, Brown U is the school for less-than-academically competent Hollywood kids. Brown will bend over backwards for that market niche.

For whatever reason, Loughlin wanted USC. Probably a helicopter mom.

“Lori is processing what that means to her.”

Well bless her little heart!

I hope she is convicted by the jury and the judge sentences her to the maximum on each count to be served consecutively. I hope the old hag becomes a very old hag in prison.

Why do you hope this? I'm genuinely curious. We're not talking Ted Bundy here.

The whole college admissions process is one big giant scam where qualified students get the door slammed in their faces while unqualified students get the red carpet treatment.

Loughlin, Huffman, etc. aren't guilty of paying bribes. They're guilty of paying bribes incorrectly. Had they paid off the right people, none of this would be happening. Instead, they cut out the middleman.

I fail to see the issue. Colleges, for reasons we all know, take in unqualified students by the THOUSANDS (maybe millions) and with that, they bump out better qualified people. So she and others did the same - what’s the big deal?

A few years ago, Reality Winner thought she was too pretty for prison. She had a highly delusional opinion of herself.

These guys were in trouble for dragging a shark behind their boat. One of them decided to be a tough guy and take no deal, while the other got 10 days. The first guy was facing 10 years, but he apparently talked his way into a second chance at the original deal. He ended up with 10 days, too. Maybe Lori can ask him how he did it.

A jury won’t convict. She’ll beat the rap.

Didn’t she use her influence to get a coached sacked. That’s what ticked me off.

Lori still doesn’t get it. She’s playing cards even now.

She has not even yet expressed remorse as did her counterpart, Huffman.

No, Lori is still trying to wriggle free of her stupidity and bad legal advice and out of her “Not Guilty” plea, But, only after seeing the lenient outcome of Huffman’s trial.

Even if she didn’t mean it, Huffman accepted responsibility and issued remorse to get the plea deal, and certainly had the more cunning lawyers to guide her responses to the charges.

Bribery is a crime. Of course this country is turning into Mexico anyways.

There is much dissatisfaction with Huffman’s light sentence.

The Court may attempt to correct that view of the privileged getting cake walk consequences, by throwing the Big book at Lori Laughlin, who is even now trying to work the system claiming to have had no real understanding of the charges.

Still now, there is no “remorse” in sight.

Huffman observed the forms and groveled. Lori has been proud and in repentant. The Court will respond accordingly.

Life is hard. It is harder when you are stupid. Everybody told her shut up and take the deal.

Admissions standards have tightened considerably. Acceptance rates are way down. The annual student cohort headcount isn’t much changed from the 70’s. The US population has gone up 50%. You used to have to sell your soul to get into Brown (#14). Now it’s USC, which is ranked #22 in the US News poll.

Cute as a button. Dumb as a rock. Good combo if you can marry a rich guy, but not for much else.

I believe the coach was sacked because he took bribes.

Here is a story that discussed it in more detail:

The “trial tax”. Dare to exercise your right to actually go to trial by jury and risk a penalty that is hundreds of times more severe than somebody who cops a plea for the same crime.

I have a problem with the idea that she could get more time for this than a lot of people get for killing a human being.

Because she dares make a prosecutor prove their case in front of the jury.
