Kamala Harris has always been known for her lean and hungry, pushy, grabby, ambition, which includes a willingness to sleep her way to the top to get what she wants. Her political start began as a social mountaineer with San Francisco's old-money Pacific Heights set dating from her 20s and then just moved onward and upward. That's not sitting well with California's lizardy old-money senior Senator, Dianne Feinstein, who knows that establishment well. And so, she's taking some action, as Fox News reports: According to reports, Feinstein, the senior senator from the Golden State, will throw a fundraiser next month.

CA always counts EV votes and they know the other two will loose the Midwest and possibly NV, AZ and NM.

Could be. We never know what’s going on behind the scenes. Maybe Kamala has already been picked to be Biden’s running mate.
I recall hearing that Hillary picked Tim Kaine long before her convention nomination, but never announced it publicly. The same thing could be happening here.
When i look and listen to her all i think is that she is one nasty bitch.

Feinstein knows Joe is the Democrats’ only possibly victorious horse for the course at this point.

Of course she is trying to sink Cortez. Feinstein is a capitalist who gives lip service to socialists as long as it doesn’t affect the family income stream, which is gigantic. Her large donors are cut from the same cloth.
AOC-Feinstein delineates the split in the Dem party between a minority of old-style liberals with ties to business, and the Marxist movement. The old guard’s days are numbered, look at their ages.
Sorry, should be Harris above, but Cortez is the same problem for Feinstein.
Feinstein may be afraid that the ineligible Kamala would permit a serious prosecution against Feinstein’s money-making “deals”... avoiding same being F’s obviously-primary motive for hanging around the Senate at such an advanced age (there’s at least an informal “immunity” against any serious action against any sitting senators, just how WashDC works these day)
we will see. Kamala is ineligible anyway and she knows it as is clear by her clever omission, glossing over the facts on her fundraising website, so my hunch is that DiFi’s ultimate response could be to file a complaint (which could be done secretly or through a third party front) against Harris for campaign fundraising law violations and/or criminal solicitation of funds under false pretenses. This all could get even more exciting and entertaining... we are staying tuned... smile smiel)
