Yes, the whole point of Ms Ford was not to tell the truth, but to put that asterisk next to Bret’s name. That is 100% it in a nutshell. She, and the entire Leftist agenda was to intentionally prejudice, discredit, ahead of time, any judicial decision on abortion that Bret might make.

That was the same sort of “racist” charge tactic they did against Jeff Sessions - make him illegitimate in the public eye, falsely accusing him as a racist, so that nothing Sessions did would be accepted, given how the media would fall in line with the Dims false racist charges.

One friend who was subjected to both public scrutiny and private pressure because she cast doubt on Ford’s story was Leland Keyser, one of Ford’s closest friends at the time of the alleged attack. Keyser wanted to support her but nevertheless had no recollection of the event.

This "Leland Keyser" was one of the critical elements of the story, and was probably -- unwittingly -- a key piece of evidence to help prove that the whole debacle was a giant fraud perpetrated on the American public.

During the heat of this story a year ago, I speculated that Christine Buzzy Ford's interactions with the Washington Post were filled with evidence that her story was fake from the start. The written material she -- or someone else -- sent to the WP was never made public despite multiple requests for it from the Senate Judiciary Committee. The best explanation I heard for this was that the hand-written notes allegedly prepared by Ford specifically named Leland Keyser as a corroborating witness, but referenced Leland as a MALE, not a female.

This would have debunked Ford's whole story, since she would never mischaracterize her close childhood friend incorrectly this way.

The handwritten materials turned over to the Washington Post when they were covering this story were NOT written by Ford.
