Justice Department to Release New Information in Dispute Over Saudi Role in 9/11 Attacks
The Wall Street Journal ^ | September 9, 2012 | Sadie Gurman and Aruna Viswanatha

WASHINGTON—The Trump administration has agreed to provide a key piece of new information about alleged official Saudi involvement in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks after an intense lobbying effort by victims’ families.

Victims’ families have for months urged the government to make information public, telling President Trump in a letter recently that it would help them “finally learn the full truth and obtain justice from Saudi Arabia.” The FBI, citing the “exceptional nature of the case,” said it wouldn’t release any other information sought by the victims’ families, but would provide the name of one Saudi official they had most wanted.

The families sought information as part of a lawsuit against Saudi Arabia that accuses its government of helping coordinate the 2001 attacks. The U.S. government’s decision comes amid broader tensions between Washington and Riyadh, through which Mr. Trump has largely stood by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Absolutely fantastic news!

Everyone deserves the names of the perps responsible, particularly the families.

Saudis have been spared all these years. Beyond disgusting and disgraceful.

You mean besides the fact that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi citizens?

WAY beyond.

But I fear any REAL incriminating evidence will never see light of day.

We needed a president at the time who loved America more than money.

Or just plain loved America.

Trump was 15 years too late to help us.

But he can help now.

We don’t need their oil nearly as badly as we did in 2001. Thanks to fracking and President Donald J. Trump.

No they don’t.

So make them #$#$ing PAY for the blood they spilled.

If they need someone to cut the throats of the sauds involved, just lock them in a room and myself and a lot of other NYers who lost people will be GLAD to do the job.

And spit on their muslim #### bodies when we’re done.

And wipe the knife clean with their turbans.

Simply put, instead of invading Iraq, the United States should have demanded $3 trillion in damages from the 9/11 Wahhabi loving Saudis or else. Those lowlifes were well aware of the plot and did nothing to stop it or inform the Americans.

Love the story about Putin and the 2014 Winter Olympics being held in Russia. The Saudis, very unhappy with Putin’s support of Assad and the Russian led destruction of ISIS, told Putin that unless his policies were to change they the Saudis could not guarantee that the Olympics would be free of a terrorist attack. Putin responded that he was grateful the Saudis gave him that warning. He responded by stationing three Russian nuclear submarines off the coasts of Saudi Arabia and informed the Saudis that if the Olympics were attacked, he would not be invading Iraq. There were no terrorist attacks.

Sadly GW Bush, who’s family made a fortune in the oil business dealing with the Saudis never held them accountable. Of course Barack Hussein Obama did his deep bow and nothing else. Perhaps Trump will do something in a second term. Congress gets so much money from the Saudis, forget about them ever doing the right thing.

If we needed their oil in 2001, we should have seized and held their oilfields after flattening Mecca. That would have been a completely justified response to that attack. The Saudis couldn’t have done a -damned- thing about it.

Thanks for the ideas.

First I’ll tell then if they eat pork in front of me I might let them live.

Then I’ll rub the blood and intestines all over them while alive.

Then cut their throats.

Since they’re pigs too the blood will mix fine.

Can’t speak for others but I’m no less angry and no more forgiving than the day the towers came down.

I’m not a killer and I’m not violent.

But this would be easy.

And fun.

Sept. 11 Families Win $104-Million
NEW YORK-May 7, 2003 — A federal judge Wednesday awarded nearly $104 million in damages to the families of at least two victims of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, saying they had shown that Iraq provided material support to Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda.
Judge Harold Baer outlined the damages against bin Laden, the Taliban and Saddam Hussein and his Iraqi government in a written decision in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. Baer said he had concluded that lawyers for the two victims “have shown, albeit barely ... that Iraq provided material support to bin Laden and al-Qaeda.” - ABC Action News

9/11 Bombshell: Judge Rules Saddam Trained Hijackers
In a bombshell finding virtually ignored by the American media, a U.S. district court judge in Manhattan ruled Wednesday that Salman Pak, Saddam Hussein’s airplane hijacking school located on the outskirts of Baghdad, played a material role in the devastating Sept. 11 attacks on America. . . . according to courtroom testimony by three of the camp’s instructors, the facility was a virtual hijacking classroom where al-Qaeda recruits practiced overcoming U.S. flight crews using only small knives - a terrorist technique never employed before 9/11.
At least one veteran of Salman Pak, Sabah Khodad, has maintained that the 9/11 hijackers were actually trained by Saddam’s henchman. He told PBS in October 2001 that the World Trade Center attack “was done by graduates of Salman Pak.”

Way back in the early 70s when OPEC was in control, I told my old college roommate at the time much the same thing.

I said that if we ever went to war in the Middle East, when the shooting stopped, it should be OUR oil.

15 of 19 number

After all planes were grounded

17 box cutter knives were found in the magazine compartments

This was intended to be way way bigger than it was

What info? Saudis murdered 3,000 people and destroyed billions of dollars of property. What else do we need to know?

Our error was in not holding the responsible people responsible. jorge busho. The gift that keeps on giving.

I agree. Immediately after 9-11 I thought we should. But over the months that followed I dropped that idea and switched to the idea we should kill all those involved. That dream remains unfulfilled.
