Republican Dr. Greg Murphy has won the special election in North Carolina's 3rd Congressional District, where he will succeed the late Rep. Walter Jones (R), who passed away in February.
The Associated Press called the race with 44 percent of precincts reporting. Murphy had 59 percent of the vote while his opponent, Democrat Allen Thomas had 44 percent of the vote.
Murphy was expected to win the district, which leans heavily Republican. Jones had served 13 terms in the district and President Donald Trump won the district by 23 points in 2016.
I think they need to celebrate their losses because it is probably good practice for what may be coming their way...
And Republican Bishop wins in the 9th.
2/2 R victories. Great news.
It is also a strong reminder to be sure and get out the vote.
It started here... with Dan Bishop winning...
Hey! Did Mention that DAN BISHOP WON TOO...? You as in, THE DEMOCRAT LOST?!?!?!?!
GLoat (yeah... on and on and on and on and on and so forth)
Can I get a Duffman OOOOOOOHHHHHHH YEEEEAAAAH!
Will be buried on page 10 of most newspapers.
Millions and millions of Soros Bucks wasted. Again...
Does somebody need a fricken math lesson? There was really 103% turnout? Time to trim the rolls.
Wasn’t the Dem up 4% in the polls yesterday? And gets slaughtered today? Yeah, Trump’s approval rating is only 44%.
Well, ya know....LOL
Yes. At a minimum.
The Uniparty Republicans are the Washington Generals.
The particulars were that the Dems poured an insane amount of money into this election AND were so sure they were going to flip this seat!!! HA, HA, HA, LOL, LOL, LOL!!!!!
Drudge drank the Kool Aid a long time ago. He leaves the same media links up to look like it’s status quo, but if he’s not hot-linking to anti-covservative propaganda at obscure web pages and tabloid UFO sightings, he’ll point you towards every leftist newspaper in the country that’s buried behind a paywall. Eff that fag.
I think Trump may have been wrong about one thing; I’m still not tired of all the winning...
Greatest meme ever
I don’t think that Drudge has been involved in the day-to-day operations of his site for a decade or more .... its brought him financial success, cache, and a page in the annals of the history of the media (remember how revolutionary he was in the late 1990s) ...
... his time is over in that sense (’social media’ have now continued the re-write of ‘media’) and Drudge is now, I suspect, spending more time enjoying life. That his site is still so popular shows just how big it once was ... now its gone much more ‘mainstream’ ...
