I hope Flynn sues the government and gets a big settlement.

It’s really a tragedy that we cannot hold prosecutors criminally liable for bringing these charges against him.

I also have to ask, where’s trump? He needs to pardon Flynn NOW. Trump needs to do this otherwise no one will work for him in his administration or as a campaign official.

Hillary lies and gets off, Comey lies and gets off, Brennan, Clapper...

...meanwhile Flynn DOESN’T lie and get buried.

What a scam.

The deep state destroyed Flynn's life but I THINK HE IS GOING TO ULTIMATELY WIN THIS BATTLE.

HIDING exculpatory evidence is a big NO NO for any prosecutor!

If I understand it correctly, if the judge decides the govt acted in ‘bad faith’ Flynn can claim all his attorney’s fees.

And I hope he gets them.

But since it’s the taxpayers who will pay then, I hope the lawyers are all fired and disbarred.

Acting in ‘bad faith’ and especially withholding exculpatory evidence should be automatic disbarment.

What part of a sting operation, where you try to bankrupt someone with legal fees and then threaten to go after their family in order to try to get false testimony against a sitting president is anything but egregious behavior?

Just asking. I mean to all who are paying attention what the federal prosecutors have been trying to do is pretty obvious.

Members of the DOJ should go to jail for this.

One of the reasons why the Flynn legal situation is so interesting is not really because of Flynn himself;
but rather because the Flynn situation is a likely example of then-Pres Obama’s surveillance network in operation.

QUOTING TOM FITTON, JUDICIAL WATCH PRESIDENT:
Obama’s State Dept was all hands on deck in terms of targeting Trump (as the candidate then as president).

<><> meetings with Glen Simpson, Steele, Clinton aides, Sid Blumenthal and Clinton associate, Cody Shearer.
<><> There was more than one dossier going to the FBI and DOJ.....
<><> there was Christopher Steele’s dossier,
<><> and a second dossier created by the State Dept itself, targeting Trump.
<><> shows Jonathan Winer and Glen Simpson were in contact Sept 2016
<><> Winer immediately contacted Victoria Nuland, a top aide at the Obama State Dept.
<><> Post-election, they worked hand in glove with top Dem Steny Hoyer’s guy on Russian issues.
<><> (which means if Steny knew, Pelosi knew and if Pelosi knew, Schmanure knew),
<><> They conveyed info gained from Steele, a close to associate of Jonathan Winer.

Oh goody, Judge drops the case and Boris leaves the EU, a Trumpfecta, on the same day. One can hope, not tired of winning....

Excellent summary of what happened today in court from two who were there. I think it looks good for Flynn.
