Walmart Open Carry Ban - Lexington, Kentucky

This video takes a look at what happens when you open-carry with a pistol in a Walmart store. The location is Lexington, Kentucky and this man was permanently banned from all Walmart's in the USA.

Do not blame the police as they are doing there job by request of Wally World. Whether business or personal property, you can have a person permanently removed and banned from re-entering. Your thoughts about this?

FYI,... Walmart will give you a permanent Nationwide ban for open carry.

The police officer lecturing the guy is making a dumb anti-Second Amendment argument from Leftist while open carrying himself is not helping at all.

The idea that Wal Mart has a list that is distributed to every store in America is ludicrous.

“Do not blame the police as they are doing there job by request of Wally World.”

But don’t you worry, when the gov’t demands that all guns be rounded up, the police will stand up and not follow the orders given.....

I’m pro gun and all, but going out in public open carrying is kinda stupid. And here in Kentucky we just changed the law. You can now conceal carry without a permit.

In our 21st century U.S. culture, people simply don’t walk around open carrying guns. Sure, you can do it, but you look like a fool and, truth be told, probably are one. Just because you CAN do a thing, doesn’t mean you SHOULD do it.

And once you leave the street and walk into a private business, you are subject to their rules. That is a first amendment thing. If they say no shoes, no shirt, no service, Put on shoes and a shirt. If they say no guns, either leave it in the car or conceal carry.

It’s really simple.

I carry Concealed at the local Walmart and everywhere else I go.

Open Carry takes away the element of surprise. I’ve never understood the appeal, though I have a Smoke em’ if you got em’ attitude about it.

An armed society is a polite society.

Cop sez...”Do you realize what YOU’VE done here?”

Other articles say no ban for open carry, They were just asking that you don’t. They leave you alone if you fo.

Walmart spokesperson Lorenzo Lopez told the Times that company employees are instructed not to obstruct peaceful shoppers from openly carrying guns. But he said stores should call law enforcement if an employee or customer feel unsafe.

Whether business or personal property, you can have a person permanently removed and banned from re-entering.

... unless you are gay, a minority, a woman, a Muslim, a liberal activist or any other politically protected class. That would be discrimination. No business can legally decide who they can and cannot do business with until the politically correct police state determines what moral influence has been considered in such a private decision.

They don’t need to distribute a list; just feed the camera feeds through facial recognition software on a central server.

This will hurt walmart, this, plus their moves concerning ammo.

But as for us, for goodness’ sake; if you open-carry and want or need to go to walmart, start concealing! It’s not a point of pride; it’s a point of practicality. You’re just as well defended, and you don’t freak out the snowflakes.

It’s about what the traffic will bear. Play it smart.

You bring up an interesting point. Go in dressed with a black sheet and claim you are a Wal Mart Muslim. That way their cameras cannot track your facial identity.

Whether business or personal property, you can have a person permanently removed and banned from re-entering.

A few days after El Paso I was shopping at my local walmart. An alarm went off and an “evacuate the building” announcement was made. After that caused some commotion they broadcast “this is a test.” Now, why didn’t they do that first? Seemed odd.

I was listening to a podcast of Tom Gresham's Gun Talk from this past Sunday, and he said that it was discovered that Walmart is a “charter member” of the “Responsible Firearms Retailer Partnership” which was co-formed by WalMart, “Everytown for Gun Safety” and Michael Bloomberg’s “Mayors Against Illegal Guns. This was done BEFORE the latest shootings.

https://tennesseefirearms.com/2019/09/walmart-partners-with-everytown-for-gun-safety-and-michael-bloomberg-to-advance-gun-ban-agenda/

This virtue signaling by Walmart has been months in the making, and only waited until a tragedy to roll it out.

No. He was not exercising his Second Amendment rights.

The Second Amendment does not take rights away from private property owners.

I don’t agree with Walmart’s policy. However, I am not about to allow private property rights to be eroded.

My thoughts are thus; I will never shop at any Walmart again until this idiotic policy is recinded.
