To put this into perspective, as I know some here will snipe and carp, President Trump was divorced. Ronald Reagan was divorced as well. Both ended up with loyal, wonderful spouses. I hope the same works out for Sarah. Unfortunately, I cannot be that guy as I’m working on a marriage of 32 years. But yeah, she’ll have no problems in that department.

This is a shame, but I’ve assumed for years that many marriages like this are far different in reality than they seem in public.
LET'S DISPENSE WITH THE MYTH THAT THEY WILL STOP ONCE YOU LEAVE THE SCENE OR GIVE UP PUBLIC OFFICE. THIS IS THEIR GOAL FOR THE TRUMPS TOO, BUT TRUMP THANKFULLY IS FINANCIALLY PROTECTED AND HAS MORE OF A BUFFER THAN PALIN COULD HAVE EVER HAD! AND WE MUST MAKE SURE HE GETS A SECOND (FULL) TERM!
Had a 70% approval as Governor and would have been a lock for the Senate later.

And yet, no comments on this thread about how this will affect Trig.
I applaud Sarah for accepting the VP nomination. But since then, her family has been beset with troubles. Her older kids have acted like idiots on TV shows, etc. Life happens - but maybe at some point they should have said “lets focus on family”.
Unless Todd and Sarah Palin were resorting to physical violence or emotional cruelty, they have a special needs soon they should have put first.
Bummer.
McCain didn’t want to win, just to run. So he chose a little know Alaskan governor as his running mate because she was female.....
Then she gave that speech ....and ruined all their plans.
