Todd Palin appears to have filed for divorce from former Alaska governor and one-time vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, his wife of 31 years.
In a document filed Friday in Anchorage Superior Court, Todd Palin, 55, asked to dissolve the marriage, citing an “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.”
The divorce filing uses initials rather than full names, but identifies the couple’s marriage date and the birth date of their only child who is a minor, Trig Palin. The filing asks for joint legal custody of the child.

I don't recall it having to do near so much with Palin, although they did give her the "she's awful, stupid, unhinged, AND Hitler" tag they have tried to lay on Trump.
No, I think McCain dug his own grave by not hanging the monetary crisis around the dems neck (he was incapable), his foolish suspension of his campaign, falling off a stage, and generally being a bad candidate who stood for nothing.....oh wait, he was a maverick who reached across the aisle, or something.....
McCain was simply awful, and couldn't face down the light worker, didn't even seem to try. Not sure who was the worse candidate, he or Mitt.
I see it the other way. Perhaps she has a guy on the side and that is why Todd filed. Heck, maybe they both do!
Juan McCain knew he was the designated loser to the anointed one.
He hated Sarah because she wanted to fight and win.

After Palin he gained ground fast.
Then he suspended his campaign etc...Did his crazy McCain things.
Palin increased his support.
To be honest, it has been quite a few years since Palin ran. I do believe the media was horrible to her.
That said, it is silly to think that has brought about this divorce almost 12 years later. That family has had many problems internally for a long time.
This is sad but for some reason this divorce does not shock me.
If this is indeed true, I will not be pinging this list again. I find divorce very, very sad.
She was hung out to dry afterwards. McCain did not deserve what she brought him. I hope she recovers well from this new turn in her life. I hope they both do, they've been through crap very few of us could stand to wade through.
Palin was picked by McCain because there would have been an open revolt otherwise.

I applaud Sarah for accepting the VP nomination. But since then, her family has been beset with troubles. Her older kids have acted like idiots on TV shows, etc. Life happens - but maybe at some point they should have said “lets focus on family”.
Unless Todd and Sarah Palin were resorting to physical violence or emotional cruelty, they have a special needs soon they should have put first.

Todd and Track had a physical confrontation some time back.
Track’s PTSD has had a traumatic effect on the family, IMO.
McCain didn’t want to win, just to run. So he chose a little know Alaskan governor as his running mate because she was female.....
Then she gave that speech ....and ruined all their plans.
