Just elect more Republicans. That will fix everything. /sarc.

Has any GOP senator fallen farther than Mike Lee? From conservative icon to dirtbag open borders pimp. That out does even Marco Amnestio.

Romney will vote against whoever Trump’s next supreme court nominee is.

I agree. Recently, he shot down Trump’s critically needed MAGA picks for the Fed.

So just where the frick are these two-face backstabbers coming from?

My sense is it makes zero sense unless it involves money, property, power.

Fracking? Federal leases? What?

They are positioning their church for what they perceive is an upcoming shift to the left in this country.

Note Lee was one of the toughest US Senators on Big Tech. Then Google invested a few hundred million in Utah and now he is quiet as a mouse on Big Tech abuses. Keep that in mind when Senator Hawley is talking tough on the Tech robberbarons these days.

In the Colonial days there was a fantasy kicking around New England that had the native tribes of the Americas being the “Lost Tribes of Israel”.

That got picked up by Mormonism, and as a result they have this idea that the descendants of Aztecs and Mayans deserve to be treated better than Americans.

So No Wall for you!

MS-13 and other descendants of the human sacrificing culture to our south must not be encumbered in their desire to enter the United States at will.

I wouldn’t be happy but it would be for different reasons

You can handle it right and say something like “I know how very important the wall is but i will try to restore funds to our great state”

or some double talk politician BS without slamming the President.

Lee and romney are POS

Well, at least romney is.

************************************************
AMENDMENT XXVIII (’Federal-State Rebalancing’)

To restore the foundational structure of State Legislatures to Congress, the following amendment is proposed:

************************************************

Section 1. Senators in Congress shall be subject to recall by their respective state legislatures or by voter referendum in their respective states.

Section 2. Term limits for Senators in Congress shall be set by a vote in their respective state legislatures but in no case shall be set less than two full terms nor more than three full terms.

Section 3: The seventeenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

************************************************

The Article V Movement is making great strides. The above is still down the road aways but will come nevertheless.

One way to see the 17th Amendment is it allows for powerbrokers to own the US Senate by buying enough Rs and Ds to either pass, block, or delay bills.

The above Amendment 28 sends the game back to powerbrokers making it so they need to buy state legislatures rather than individuals. That shifts the game of power to the local level where people can see more actively what’s going on.

Mike Lee was doing fine until he got into some kind of legal trouble. He emerged a different person.

LDS is for open borders.

Here’s a whiny complaint from them that sounds like a DNC press release:

https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/church/news/church-calls-for-unity-compassion-in-new-statement-on-immigration?lang=eng

“The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has long expressed its position that immigration reform should strengthen families and keep them together. The forced separation of children from their parents now occurring at the U.S.-Mexico border is harmful to families, especially to young children. We are deeply troubled by the aggressive and insensitive treatment of these families. While we recognize the right of all nations to enforce their laws and secure their borders, we encourage our national leaders to take swift action to correct this situation and seek for rational, compassionate solutions.”

I see your point; he spend no time attacking Obama.

And the two designated losers hated with a passion the winner who defeated the designated lose in the primaries, Jeb, and then went on to defeat the designated winner in the general, Hillary.
