....In a criminal complaint affidavit filed by the U.S. Attorney's Office obtained by The Miami Herald, Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani was reportedly unhappy because of stalled union negotiations between the mechanics union and the airline.
Alani was arrested Thursday and accused of disabling a component of the navigation system known as an air data module.
Pilots noticed the issue July 17 when they got an error message during takeoff. They aborted the flight, with 150 on board. An inspection....

This happened in July and the hammer is just now dropping in September? They need to find out what other flights this mechanic has sabotaged for personal reasons.

I was working at a trade show some months back and met and chitchated a bit with one of the last remaining survivors of the 9/11 firefighters heroes. He was joking about his weight, and then the conversation continued and he explained that he had gained a hundred lbs+ due to his cancer treatments. It’s one of those things that escapes your mind with everything else happening in this country, but damn if it didn’t make me sad.
This is attempted mass murder. Does anybody actually believe it was over contract negotiations?
