Hmm. A quick search brought up an article from three days ago. Seems that Ridgway had been secretly moved to the Federal prison in Florence, Colorado. After some hollering by the victims families, he has been returned to Walla Walla state prison.
Some say that he is a model prisoner at Walla Walla and was at risk of being hurt by other inmates. Other reports say that he was getting too familiar with Walla Walla and casing it to escape, and was a threat to the guards there. Others say that the guards at Walla Walla were becoming lackadaisical around the 66 year-old Ridgway.
Sorry, but when you gotta feed em, medicate em, now give them ‘non emergency’ surgery etc better off just eliminating the problem.
That is why I said deserted island and let them fend for themselves...
So basically five feet of rope could save us $75 grand a year and a whole lot of oxygen.
Not to mention that with all of these commie judges and politicians letting people go,you never know. They might release some of these evil bastards and bastardettes back into society. I feel its better to execute these people quickly after an expedited appeal. That insures they never kill again.
Make sure that the punishment is execution by public hanging. If other social misfits see their kindred swinging from ropes on the Tee Vee, they might think twice about doing this crap themselves.

How do you speed due process? How do you execute the mentally insane? If you can speed it for them, why not speed it for every victim of violent crime and still protect the not guilty?
How can you execute someone that either kills themselves after the shooting is over or is killed by the police during the shooting? Most mass shooters either kill themselves or are killed by the police. This is just another”make the sheep feel secure”thing that will go nowhere.
