A Washington state police chief who took a stand in refusing to enforce elements of the state’s widely encompassing new gun control package is now running for Governor of the state. He’s making a pledge to restore the gun rights of Washingtonians a central message of his campaign.
Loren Culp is the police chief of Republic, Washington. He was praised by gun owners and vilified by liberal prosecutors for his constitutional refusal to enforce parts of a massive gun control law enacted in 2018.

I live in Spokane. Gov. Jay Inslee is a moron, very liberal, the worst governor ever. He’s declared or declaring WA a sanctuary state. Got zero traction in his run for Dem candidate for prez.
I lived on Bainbridge Island, just off Seattle in Puget Sound, and Inslee was our congressman. I was walking my gorgeous Keeshond Sunday morning in the park. She was very friendly, wagged her tail at everyone, then suddenly started barking like crazy and made a lunge at this man’s knees......you guessed it: Jay Inslee. Smarter by far than the stupid liberals over there. Wish I’d let go of the leash and let her bite him.
Meanwhile: Our Spokane County sheriff, Ollie Knezovich, has declared Spokane County an illegal-free zone. He should be governor. Spokane County runs right along the Idaho border to the Canadian border.

WE have deeply entrenched Patty Mc-Morris Rogers as our congresswoman. Republican but an idiot. Maybe he should take her on in a primary.
I read that Republic was mulling over declaring itself a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary city/town. The mayor, sheriff, council etc. were looking into not enforcing ANY of the state AND Federal gun laws.
A quick search only turned up those old articles, so I guess they didn’t. They DID decide not to enforce many/all of the new state laws that are unconstitutional.
Republic is a beautiful little town in the mountains. I liked to spend the night there on my summer forays into eastern Washington.
Now if the could swap out the legislators......
This could bring out the conservative vote and swamp the swamp.
