No question about it—Bernie Sanders was born a Jew. So what? ....
To a serious, practicing Jew, the fact that Bernie Sanders makes use of his Jewish birthright, is somewhat disturbing. Senator Sanders has done almost nothing Jewish throughout his entire life. His disdain for Israel, his recent support for Linda Sarsour, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, his hatred of Prime Minister Netanyahu, makes him much more of a “Sonay Yisrael—an Israel hater,” than a supporter of the Jewish state.
So why is it that a Jew, who has dropped virtually everything Jewish from his life, from keeping Kosher to observing the Sabbath to even marrying Jewish, is still regarded as a Jew - of course, halakhically, he may be, but why should the media care about that? Why does the mainstream media refer to the Senator as if he were a Torah scholar who prays 3 times a day facing Jerusalem? The truth is that Bernie Sanders refers to his religion of birth only to validate his socialist and progressive core beliefs, which are actually quite removed from Jewish teachings and values.
Bernie Sanders refuses to confront the reality that his children are not Jewish; nor does he wish to face up to the concept that 3500 years of Jewish lineage in the Sanders family has ended with him. Yet Sanders holds on to the Jewish label because it happens to be his only vehicle to any historical credibility. His beliefs are so far out of the mainstream of American values, that Judaism is his only identifier that comports in any way with the American Founding Fathers’ ideals.

Bernie Sanders is as Jewish as Karl Marx.
I may be confused about Jews who want a socialist Utopia on Planet Earth and consider the ideas of Karl Marx to be ultra important. I thought most Jews voted Democrat because the Democrats are trying to create a socialist Utopia and as such are in keeping with Jewish ideals. I therefore must be confused about why Jews chose to vote Democrat. I did hear that the Jews of Eastern Europe were admiring Communism and therefore the USA placed a law on the books to keep those Jews out of the USA. Then Hitler came to power and a boatload of Jews tried to escape Europe and FDR refused to allow them entry to the USA.
A lot of Catholics feel the same way about Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, John Kerry and anything from the Hyannis Kennedy clan. These are wicked times, disguised as it was in Sodom and Gomorrah by great wealth.

It deserves a careful read. First of all he’s very funny. Second, he makes some excellent and accurate points. Here’s one of them:

You can be Jewish by birth. You cannot be a Christian by birth.
That nails it right there, plain and simple.
Yet nationwide a majority of Catholics vote Dem, just like Jews.
Both Catholics and Jews in name only. If any were committed to the teachngs of the Torah and the Bible, they could not vote for the God hating, murderous and covetous Democrat (socialist) Party.
I would send this article to my NY retired teacher SIL who wears her Jewish-ness on her sleeve and would never consider voting for a non Democrat.....but she would never read it anyway.
One time the garbage men missed one of her cans at the same time she had a Menorah in the window. She claimed they did it deliberately because of the Menorah. I kid you not. The garbage men are anti Semites.
Whereas she detests DJT who has done more for Israel than any US president.

We have a similar problem in the Orthodox Church with Greeks (and other ethnicities) who are “cultural Orthodox”—show up only for Holy Days and Memorial Services and are generally loud and disruptive when they do.
I could tell her some stories of real anti-Semitism.

That’s not a strong argument in this case. Jewish morality is not genetic nor does it have any relationship to genetics. What is genetic is birth descent through the mother, unless one is a convert.
