FULL TITLE: IG Report: James Comey Passed Private Conversation with Trump to FBI Team Investigating Russia Collusion

A report released on Thursday by the Justice Department’s inspector general provides new context to disgraced former FBI Director James Comey’s infamous classified briefing to then President-elect Donald Trump about “salacious” material inside the anti-Trump dossier. The IG report relates that prior to the briefing, FBI members on Comey’s team discussed the need to memorialize the exchanges between Comey and Trump during the private January 6, 2017 briefing in Trump Tower just in case Trump made statements relevant to the agency’s Russia probe. In other words, they plotted to stealthily use statements Trump said to Comey in a private briefing to inform their Russia collusion investigation.

The IG further relates that Comey went on to do just that. He had a laptop waiting for him in the car, where he immediately began memorializing the private talk. He also immediately provided a “quick download” of the Trump briefing to members of the FBI’s Russia collusion team via a secured video conference.

Until now, Comey and other former Obama administration officials presented the unusual briefing as a courtesy to Trump to warn him about the news media possibly publically releasing embarrassing claims about the newly elected president. Questions have been raised on the need to include the dossier’s wild and unsubstantiated charges in the classified briefings. It is not the usual job of the intelligence community to warn politicians about possible pending negative publicity.

The IG report, based on interviews with Comey and other FBI “witnesses”, documents that prior to Comey’s briefing the FBI discussed utilizing Comey’s classified private talk with Trump to inform the controversial Russia collusion probe.

Who isn’t a swamp rat? There might be a dozen Republicans in DC who are on board with DJT and his 63 millino voters, but that’s it. The rest of congress hates him and us.

Presidents need to be able to trust their people.

Comey betrayed that trust, and it’s a very important thing.

No big deal, he used lies and stolen document to set up the special council witch hunt.
Dems still spending money going after Trump, innocent people in jail and Comey walks, Dems
must pay for this even if its only in civil court being sued for millions.
35 million spent on sedition. Are the Republicans going to shut down Nadler? are they going to
capitolize on this to throw the Dems out of office

This is an EXCELLENT summary of the course of events by Aaron Klein.

And it’s apparent this is just the prologue.

While they have let Comey off the Hook on mishandling classified information, he could still be implicated in far more serious crimes.

And appears that he is.

NO WAY were all these people acting independently and unaware of each others actions.

They conspired to Defraud the Federal Courts, The US Government and the American People...AND to deny several US Citizens their Civil Rights...all under the Color of Law.

release all the reports now and start indicting co-conspirators, including those in the FakeNewsMSM.

the demonization of the President 24/7 for nearly 3 years is meant to make the attempt to stop him winning the election and the subsequent attempted coup seem reasonable and even righteous.

enough. the truth must come out.

Yeah sure, he had a laptop waiting in the car so he could sit down and write what he remembered about what he said. Total bullshit. Illegally recorded the president without his knowledge oh, that’s what he did.

So?

What will anyone do about any of it?

We keep hearing IG findings, and we keep hearing there will be no prosecution.

Me, I’ve had to quit watching Hannity and his merry band of true believers who continue to assure us somebody’s in deep trouble, tick tock.

Nothing ever comes of it. The conclusion is inescapable, there are people above the law.

Having this as a freestanding report exposing Comey a is good strategy as it proves Comey intentionally set up and framed the President in order to get his friend Robert Mueller appointed Special Prosecutor when he failed to get Trump to appoint Mueller as FBI Director.

It shows that Comey conspired to manufacture evidence to frame President Trump with fake crimes to justify the Mueller Investigation under false pretenses, just like Comey set up General Flynn under false pretenses

It isolates Comey and it highlights the fact that the Russia collusion and initiation of the Mueller Investigation along with the rest of the biz are events of the last three years were a fraud perpetrated on the American people intended to cover up a plot to first exonerate and elect Hillary Clinton and then to set up a coup to remove President Trump when they failed to get Clinton elected.

This is a key fact central to the coup plot against President Trump.

It’s looking like the Mueller Investigation was preplanned before Trump was even elected and was, in fact, the carefully planned “insurance policy” to remove President Trump from office and to justify and coverup the DOJ/FBI/CIA plot to give Obama political operatives illegal use of NSA intelligence for spying on political opponents that began with Robert Mueller himself and was continued by his best bud and co conspirator James Comey.

It would not be at all surprising to find that the main reason Comey was appointed FBI Director in the first place was because he was a close friend of Robert Mueller who could be counted on to keep the FBI component of Obama political spy operation going forward in secrecy.

It would also be no surprise to find that a similar spying plot was central to defeating Mitt Romney and getting President Obama re elected.

It would also be no surprise to learn that the Obama domestic spying operation was established and run by John Brennan before he became CIA Director as a political espionage and black mail operation and may have been the reason Brennan was given the job at CIA

I count on none of that.

The Republican party is little more than a place holder > IMO.

Look at what they did to Roy Moore.

They aren’t intent on winning or anything close to it.

Trump is a major embarrassment to them.

The don’t lift a single finger in California.

Honestly, as a member of the public, I don’t hear one peep out of them.

The leadership (used very very loosely) disgusts me to the max.

It's tough ...... nearly impossible to survive in a swamp unless one has the characteristics that allow one to live there. These slimebags are PICKED/SELECTED purely because they generally have little class, no decency, and most likely are easily able to be bribed.

I've know dozens of them over the past forty or so years, and there have been very few worth a darn.

However, a friend of mine JOHN HEINZ ...

..... was clean and good. We used to play a lot of tennis together back in the good old days in Fox Chapel............. and then he died in a very suspicious flight "accident".

I guess he may have been too clean.
