If Comey, and others, are not prosecuted for the FISA related violations, then we truly live in a banana republic.

***************

An abundance of evidence has been out there; they should have been prosecuted long ago. The fact that they have not tells me nothing is going to happen to anyone involved. The fix is in.

We really need to start thinking about replacing the stars on the flag with bananas.

Manafort will be charged and convicted in NY State to assure he dies in solitary.

**************

Why doesn’t Trump pardon Manafort and Stone? Our justice system is a farce so why not release them? Seems like a fitting thing to do at this time.

POTUS can’t pardon for crimes charged at the state level, apparently.

Bigger fish to fry. Don’t want to queer the deal against former AG and former POTUS.

Yeah.. right!

If they're NOT going to prosecute Comey, who might be willing to testify against Obunga or the former AG, then they sure as hell won't be going after someone higher up the ladder.

Why is Donald Trump allowing this. He is the CHIEF law enforcement officer.

Will he soon have a “foundation” like the others?

Manafort was sentenced by a federal judge. Stone faced the same judge if I’m not mistaken.

It mainly focused on leaking information, some classified, to an unauthorized person(s).

Shouldn't this unauthorized person (Comey's partner in crime) be in some legal jeopardy? He did leak the memos to the NYT, apparently, so I don't see how he gets a pass. Oh, right, our government is corrupt, so never mind.

No, the AG is the chief law enforcement officer. Trump is the Commander in Chief.

Manafort has state charges pending in NY. No use to pardon him on the fed stuff only for some blue state to come along and jail Trump supporters for something else.

Criminal leaks are a tiny fraction of unauthorized leaks.

Don’t want to queer the deal against former AG and former POTUS.

The in crowd has assured me that Sessions is secretly prosecuting Comey and is just waiting until the FBI director has finished his secret investigation.

Apparently the DOJ has two levels of justice.
= = =

Well, that would be are you on ‘top’ or on ‘bottom’?

They like being on top.

You are on bottom, for the duration.

Justice isn’t blind, it is dead. She committed suicide with 3 shots to the back of the head.

The Democrats have managed to fuse our political and legal systems to prosecute their political opponents. They get away with it because they know with 100% certainty that the Republicans will never use the same tactics against them.

When your opponent doesn’t fear or respect you expect the worst from them because that’s what you’re going to get.

More like two levels of injustice.

One for Flynn.

The other for the likes of Comey.

Just imagine the Holder/Lynch DOJs decliling not to prosecute GW Bush’s former FBI Director for lying and leaking.

Right. In a pigs eye!

Not only would the Rat AG indict them in a New York minute, but if she didn’t, the MSM would bring holy hell down on the AG in a firestorm that makes Dresden look like a camp fire.

Just imagine the shoe was on the other foot and a GOP former FBI Director had done these things and the Obama AG was considering prosecution. There would be no quarter, no prisoners. It would be a bloodbath.
