Former Trump press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has served her president well and is now assuming a role as a contributor for Fox News Channel.
Sanders executed her role in the Trump administration masterfully, at most times amid a firestorm of negative media attacks, grandstanding reporters and lambasting from late night talk show hosts. Sanders and her family were tossed from a restaurant and she has been skewered as a Joseph Goebbels figure on social media almost continually.
Like most of her predecessors in the White House Briefing Room, Sanders was doing her job which was to disseminate information but more importantly to shape messaging for the administration. Routinely, in the day-in-day-out of a press secretary, that means “spinning” the news of the day, deflecting and generally doing a well-choreographed dance with the truth.

It looked like this: in 2013 a reporter asked Carney, “Will you admit that what the president said, ‘if you have a plan, you’ll get to keep it,’ that that was not true?”
Of course it was proven not to be true and the response should have reflected that, but here is Carney’s answer:
“Well, let’s just be clear. What the president said and what everybody said all along is that there is going to be changes brought about by the Affordable Care Act to create minimum standards of coverage, minimum services every insurance provider …”
Blah, blah, blah.
If Carney et al. get to profit from their spinning, so should Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
I don’t think she was even marginally competent in her prior position but it wasn’t my call.
The free market will decide what her talents are and how much she should be compensated. I don’t think she is unemployable - she didn’t do anything horrible. But I certainly have no interest in her opinions on any topic.

I think she did a much better job than most people in that position do - and against much more hostility than I’ve ever seen any of them have to deal with.
Of course if she - ala the mooch -turned on President Trump there would be bidding war to hire her.

Nowadays, some news writers write as if they are sending a text message, and use abbreviations such as this.
It’s quite simple folks...I can give you a sure answer as to the coming future of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, 1,2,3!!!! Ms. Sanders will simply get millions (3-5 million folks) to follow her words and utterings on FNC, and The CNN Low Life scum and vermin that try to pass as objective Media will get about 100,000 sick, demented, insane, unbalanced, America Hating viewers. Folks...ya can lead a horse to water....but...you cannot make him or her drink!!!

Sarah Sanders makes Juan Williams look like a talking anal orfice because he is. There’s more idiots besides him to. Chris Wallace and the idiot gay guy in the afternoon. His name escapes me, it’s how much I watch Fox I guess. I went to OAN and haven’t worried about anyone at Fox since. Wish Sarah had went to OAN
If Sarah Sanders was the anchor of any network evening news - i’d actually watch it. She is tough but fair. She’d be awesome on The Five as well.
Her Fox tenure will be shorter than Sarah Palin’s. Palin was at least attractive and good with soundbites. Huckabee inherited none of her father’s charisma or intelligence. She was simply in the right place at the right time, as seems to be the case for many.
She was fabulous...I want her in the Senate and run for Prez.
