Re: Today’s Gaffe re: New Hampshire

I heard it repeated on Fox. He was in a town called Keane? New Hampshire and a journalist asked him what he thought of the town. He answered that it was a lovely town and he’d been there before - but then “what’s not to love about Vermont.”

He’s done.

I think the one about Dan Quayle and Latin/Latin America was made up by someone to mock him. The misspelling of potato was on a cue card the teacher had given him—either because she did not know the right spelling or hoping to trick him into believing that was the right spelling.

Altogether I think the phrase "four dead in Ohio" occurs 12 times in the song.

So Biden should have said "48."

I realize that on both etc...

I think DQ did say it in an ‘inside joke’ manner which ALL of us that ever took Latin I figuring it may as well be ‘Greek’ understood his meaning.

If it was made up, I do think he said something to the effect of ‘If I didn’t say it, I wish I had’ or something like that.

I struggled through Latin I my Freshman year in a Parochial School Sister made me ‘promise’ to not take Latin II so she could give me a ‘passing’ grade.

I got a full credit for it and somehow it did count as my language....Also had gotten a full credit for Religion where the state was giving 1/2 or 1/4 per year if one took Religious instructions...

So 2 of my credits for graduation were ‘bogus’ and I took typing as a Junior so we can see where my ‘academic mind’ was situated...I (somewhat) think the phrase ‘Good student but needs to apply himself more’ was coined in my behalf...<: <: <:
