A federal prosecutor in Pennsylvania blamed DA Larry Krasner for a bloody standoff, but the suspect has a long relationship with the government that includes a sentence reduction because of his cooperation.
U.S. Attorney William McSwain quickly blamed Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner for the August 14 shooting of six police officers who were trying to serve a warrant. In a statement released less than 24 hours after the standoff ended in North Philadelphia, McSwain, the U.S attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, said the shooting was precipitated by a stunning disrespect for law enforcement that was championed by Krasner.
The [district attorneys office] has no interest in engaging with Bill McSwains inappropriate attempts to run for political office from his taxpayer-funded perch in Donald Trumps DOJ, Krasner spokesperson Jane Roh told The Appeal.
McSwain failed to mention, however, that alleged shooter Maurice Hills interactions with law enforcement predated Krasner taking office. Nor did McSwain acknowledge that the 36-year-old Hill, who on Saturday was charged by Krasners office with attempted murder and multiple counts of aggravated assault related to the incident, has been a federal informant for years, according to documents obtained by The Appeal.

So was Whitey Bulger.
So were Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby.
And had been attending a mosque.
If you want to dismantle the FBI
start digging deep on who their informants are.
LOl, the FIB, of course...
“Well, it looks like he’s not as cooperative as we thought...”
this guy => FIB => Philadelphia incident
He won’t be able to go back to his old neighborhood anymore.
Lefty smokescreen, as you can tell by the way they smear McSwain for working in the Trump DoJ.
First, they conflate “witness” with “informant.” Bulger was a known criminal who continued to walk free in exchange for secret information. This guy simply MAY have gotten a slight less-than-average sentence in exchange for cooperating after-the-fact with prosecutors, “you help us and we won’t recommend the max.”
Secondly, The Appeal oddly admits that the feds wanted to yank his release, but the State kept dropping charges. Then a local judge Heyden barred evidence, and then the State passed a “clean slate” law... all consistent with McSwain’s complaints. So all The Appeal really succeeds at is emphasizing that Krasner was representative of a pro-crime local attitude.
Seriously, if Krasner went after the Philly politicians the way he goes after Catholic leaders, Judge Hayden would be serving a life sentence for murder.
Why am I not surprised.
Providing information post arrest to get a lesser sentence is not called being an informant.
That is being a cooperative witness.
An informant is someone who is out of custody and getting paid money to gather information on criminal activities and oersons.
The source for this information is a website meant to push back against “mass incarceration” and is a doing a “high tech” stop snitchin with this article.
So will he be treated as a snitch in prison or a hero for shooting cops. Or both shake his hand as they shank him.
Wow, lookee here.

Everything you wrote is 100% true, BUT, AX JOE, is it fact.
I believe truth more than facts, I think, maybe, OK, I'm confused.
Is there a difference between facts and truth, because I've been axing my pals, and they are really stupid, because they don't know...either:)
If an informant wants to remain confidential then he should not shoot at cops. This guy signed his own death warrant even if he cant receive the death penalty.
Check bounced???
Perhaps an extreme form of "take this job and shove it".
Wouldn't be the first time such things have happened.
It figures.
