My favorite challenge to throw out to the netnuts groups: Name one problem aside from vaccinations which Washington DC has solved.
I love watching the tortured look on their face when vaccinations is pointed out.

Outside of the military (and there’s plenty of wasteful spending there), name me one thing the Federal Government has “improved”.
Until ten years ago, the military was our most highly regarded institution. Hussein set about destroying it and did a good job.
