Lib in-laws visiting, so watching more Lib MSM news this week.

I can't believe that EVERY time the MSM addresses the gun issue they stack one LIE atop another.

They LIE about existing laws, They LIE about proposed laws, They LIE about gun crime, They LIE about recent gun crimes and even in the middle of the Phili shooting.

I love in a county in western North Carolina that has 17000 residents .I would guess 75 percent have firearms .we average about 1 homicide by firearm ever ten years.about the only time you hear anything about firearms is if a felon is caught with a gun.but the problem with that is you can get caught with one pain pill and be charged with a felony and the the only way you have a chance to get your charge reduced to a misdemeanor even if you have a clean record is to have about $50.000 for a attorney.we hardly have any violent crime here.but our local prosecutor is a peace of work.our population is about 95 percent white .to be honest the drug dealers ,gangs and mental ill cause 90 percent of the gun violence and most of the time when a mass shooting acures the FBI has had enough information on the subject to have stopped the mass killing.why is it that the worthless FBI never have to answer to there failure to never do there Damn job..

“Diversity as Religion” mixed with grievance politics is destroying our culture.

It would be perfectly Constitutional to ban hunting.

When at my BIL's, he and his commie wife watch Lib MSM. I just go into the bedroom and read a book. That's the only way I can avoid pointing out the continuous stream of lies and propaganda. Which would be a pointless exercise.

“..My handgun is for self protection ... My AR15 is for the Civil War...”

“A handgun is for fighting your way back to your Battle Rifle... which you shouldn’t have left behind in the first place. A handgun will defend your Life, but only a Battle Rifle will defend your Liberty.”

The AR-15 is not “fun to shoot”. It is a terrifying weapon of mass destruction, so devastating that just pulling the trigger once can turn Mother Teresa into Jeffrey Dahmer. From a well-researched article (a classic of modern objectivity):

“I’ve shot pistols before, but never something like an AR-15. Squeeze lightly on the trigger and the resulting explosion of firepower is humbling and deafening (even with ear protection).”

“The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don’t know what you’re doing. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.”

Guns ultimately preserve the right of the people to defeat totalitarian government.

My response to GERSH KUNTZMAN, the author of the article you reference, is to take a Midol.

"The Second Amendment was not written for hunters but for the people’s self-protection, including especially protection from tyranny."

Slight correction.

“It felt to me like a bazooka — and sounded like a cannon.”

Incredible, with idiocy and ignorance like that no wonder the left is so confused about reality. Thank you for sharing that, I bookmarked it in my “humor” folder even though it belongs in an “idiocy” folder.

Of course. Who could resist such an appropriately-named writer? I just couldn’t bear to post two of those.
