Israel and the United Arab Emirates held secret meetings arranged by the U.S. in recent months to share information and coordinate efforts to counter what they see as the increasing threat posed by Iran, according to U.S. officials familiar with the clandestine diplomacy.

Not really a secret, maybe just not publicly acknowledged. Israel has plenty of open contacts with UAE, including government officials. Israeli companies provide security and electronics for some UAE assets.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Israel has contacts and low-level relations with other Gulf countries like Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain as well.
It is certain they do, as well as many connections with the Saudis. Arabs are terrified of Persians. These countries know Israel is no threat to them.

Read the article. It says “held” secret meetings several months ago.
