Although Medicare for All remains a popular proposal for progressive Democrats, many labor unions remain divided over whether the single-payer healthcare proposal would benefit American workers.

Former Vice President Joe Biden and other moderate 2020 Democrat presidential candidates have attempted to cast Medicare for All as harmful to the American worker, although some labor unions have backed the single-payer healthcare plan.

I smell exemptocrats, and they are sulfur dripping madmen.
But in the end, they will be exempt as before.

That’s because the unions want to keep their “Cadillac” insurance plans, which were exempted from the “cadillac” taxes by Obama, while the rest of us get screwed into the system, by the system!

This is just more of the some animals are more equal than others, rhetoric of the Democrats!

What they say is, “Medicare for All,” what they mean is “Medicare for Y’ALL!”

That’s because the unions want to keep their “Cadillac” insurance plans

Examples please?

Taft-Hartley insurance plans were gutted under Obamacare and rates went up. Coverage was adversely effected.

This cost healthcare benefits for spouses, this threatened healthcare benefits for part time and, for one major retailer, effectively eliminated healthcare for part time because the minimum hours required to maintain insurance at least doubled.

There was a UFCW negotiation a few years ago, during the Obamacare era, where the choice was between losing healthcare for spouses or losing it for part timers due to costs. The part-timers voted to save themselves and toss the spouses yet there was a trap set because the minimum hours required went way up.

Now they're demanding biometrics or increased rates. For what reason would they want an employee's biometric data? I'm not sure who it's going to, the union, or the company or both.

The unions should've fought like hell against Obamacare.

Unions heads, who can afford better care, are for it.

Rank and file, who know they’ll be screwed, are against it.

The hands by and large are not! We don’t want out money going to fund non-workers and dregs on society any more than it already is.
The leadership goes with the politician who promises the best lies.
