Good question. I wonder if she is ashamed of and disgusted by her white kids???? If not, why not??

The problems with this line of thinking:
* It conflates race with class privilege.
Biden made this mistake in his recent gaffe, that poor kids are as smart as white kids. Denying that there are poor whites, denying there are rich blacks, and ignoring that CLASS has far more impact on your life than RACE.
* It lets upper class whites renounce privilege without doing anything about it.
If you say your sin is being born white, you don’t have to give up wealth and power to make it fair.
* It lets liberal whites hate on poor whites.
When you say all whites are privileged, elite whites can openly mock poor whites and call for everyone else to do the same. After all, how stupid and backward do you have to be to fail as a privileged white?
* It actually validates the tiny fraction of racists by saying yes, everyone agrees with you.
Harder to fight that ideology when you just said yeah, there are millions of them.
* It pushes many to those extremes.
It alienates many moderates who are being smeared as members of the racist fringe. And can lead to some identifying with those groups.
* It creates new victims in the name of fairness.
It proves that whites are being systematically oppressed, when those in power can publicly shame you for your race or sex. Making matters worse, they oppress you based on collective guilt and mere demographics. That we have to send just the whites to diversity training where they bash all men as sexist, all whites as racist. If it is a mixed group, you may be asked to apologize for the sin of existing. Marianne William’s church prayer was exactly that.
* It discourages anyone from trying to cross the divide you’re deepening.
“Even if you’re a good person, we know you’re secretly guilty of evil, so good isn’t an excuse”. OK, if I’m just going to fail or be shamed for trying, why try?
If you’re hating yourself because of race shame heaped upon you, maybe it’s time to start using your head.
What would you tell anyone of a minority if someone tried to race shame them?
Tell the same to yourself and grow a pair (figuratively).
