Brian Williams has good hair and resonant voice, that is his only real claim to being a newsman. As long as he reads lines put in front of him, he is fine. When he starts speaking for himself he immediately gets into trouble, either lying or saying crazy stuff (or allowing it to be said).

I would bet that the FBI and CIA are full of 'pseudo-educated' eggheads with degrees unrelated to the work they're hired for, and who, in turn, hire more eggheads. The supposition is that 'if we get smart people, even without a law enforcement background, they'll be able to figure it out'. It would be an arrogant, dangerous, and stupid supposition.
