Amazingly in the late 1960s the Leftists said that the three adjoined H’s made of white stars to make HHH for Hubert H. Humphrey on signs, bumper stickers and on buttons were to symbolize a row of barbed wire like the police used on wooden racks to push against protestors in 1968.
