Maybe the reason Trump has these people is BECAUSE war happens when your LAWS DON’T WORK anymore - who better to have than people who spent their lives strategically prepared to use strength as a policy when Laws and promises broken no longer contain the behaviors that are unacceptable to nation or government. War has it ideal in the settlement of disputes otherwise non-negotiable by diplomatic means.
The Department of State has shown its hand as an agent of the Left; sometimes a president has to use the hand he is dealt... State betrays an Administration but fails to understand War is their fault as an agent of socialist and progressives who think communism is just fine rather than free markets which most at State could not explain the difference between Capitalist or Free Markets, but they do understand the European Socialist Democrat Model which is not separated as Church and Nation-State as Industry and Government is or should be in America - thus we see Googled, Twitter, MS and other serviced/utility providers co-opted by DNC chairs on corporate boards pushing illegal collusion by merging the political entity with the business or the intelligence agencies - these are European constructs of Government and not proper in US Government.
If there is a war with China the world will see some cities destroyed but China will be blinded from Chinese Communist Government Control over their ChiCom military and diplomatic arms of government; the US will issue a stand down or attack piecemeal Chinese targets once the Government cannot communicate with the armed forces. We will cherry pick targets and the result of peace imposed will be that China will break up into 18-20 different Nation-States some friendly to the USA and others in continued competition without the threat of another war.
War with China will see them defeated, divided and the USA with 25-30M casualties in some big cities - China will do a first strike on the USA and hit 5-10 major cities and as many major military targets.
The problem for the DNC (their European construct of imbedding their government arm in political institutions and industry) is that they are located primarily in population centers and their power oftentimes comes from riots, breakdown of rule of law but no nation in a war is going to target Wheat and Corn fields.
After all when you leave a president no choice and he is forced into a war to which the DNC basically helped to force is they are not positioned to take a hit anywhere. If Trump had to make a choice between saving Fort Bliss Tx or Fort Bragg NC and say Atlanta or Chicago, because he can only save two is do his best for all four but save the military. Take out Seattle and Washington probably votes Republican in the future; take out SF and LA and California is in play; NYC and NY goes Republican, along with NJ.
No the democrats have overplayed their hand and exposed themselves under/post Obama as a host that devours illegally the CIA, DOJ, EPA, FTC/FEC and all the industries tied to them. When the DNC see fit they speak to other nations such as China or Iran and advise them to wait Trump out politically.
Trump doesn’t have many good options diplomatically because DOS is run by progressives. but he as John Bolton a man who everyone knows exactly where stands, among the few others you provided. Each of those men cannot be misunderstood and their is no intrigue nor is their any wriggle room with an official statement.
China loses if they start a war, and the DNC loses if they help start a war.
Maybe nobody really wins but I see a silver lining in the breakup of China and a reshuffling of the powerbases in the American heartland.
